The Amazon job, well, 1000 of them or so, was advertised in workamper.com for several months, large advertisements. The temporary help agency placed the ads and has a great website with video and everything. For three months of working at least a 40/hr/week shift, standing on your feet on a concrete floor, helping to fill orders in their huge, automated warehouse, they provide site, hookups, shuttle to and from work, get-togethers, the possibility of some overtime, direct deposit, and an excellent salary, paid weekly. Many people who worked there last year have written about their experiences in workamper forums so that others of us know exactly what to expect. It will be hard work, but worth it. The difficult part will be spending not only Halloween, but Thanksgiving as well as my birthday and Christmas there. Oh well, I'm a big kid.
Here's the website if anyone is interested. Last I heard, they still need people for their holiday season.
