Okay, thanks to some more advice back up in General Talk, I finally got it. Posted this picture up there, but since this is the Pet section, I'm reposting down here too. This is Sassy (8 yrs) on the left and Tessa (7 yrs in June) on the right. The are mother (Sassy) and daughter. Completelly opposite in their personalities. Sassy being the more high energy, let's go dog, loves to run in the woods and snoop, while Tessa is more laid back, content to just lay around and sleep. But she does love to go wading in lakes, rivers and streams. I call her my "waterbaby". Both dogs weee adopeted around age 5 from a show breeder. They are always looking for "forever" homes for their dogs after the show years are over. Tessa was shown to her Championship title a year before she came to live with me. Sassy was not a show dog but was an 'ambassador" for the breeder she says. Used to sit on the grooming table and shake paws with people and go places with the breeder etc. She like me has that love of the outdoors.
