GOOD MORNING TO ALL!!
Glad to hear your surgery site is coming along smoothly, Lori, and thanks for the coffee!
Molly and I just got back from the old sawmill in the kicker to release one mouse this morning. She drools all the way there and tries to get it out of the Havahart trap! I have to force her to stay in the BACK!
57 degrees, overcast, damp, humid, but forecast to be nice later on today. We shall wait and see. I'd like to tackle cleaning the cellar today, which means loading the truck with dump stuff for tomorrow again. I once had started to paint the cement floor down there with some kind of sealer paint, and I so wish I had finished. I ran out of money at the time for the rest of the paint...sure don't have the $$$ now, either, until that first check arrives two weeks after school starts. But at least I can 'tidy' up down there----right now it's like an obstacle course or a fun house at an amusement park!
I told Mandy, my daughter, about the way to prepare jewelweed, and she says she has bushels of it growing around her ponds in her yard. She will follow Connie's directions and freeze a batch of it. She has horrible skin itchys and rashes and bumps and you-name-it-----aligator skin most of the time. I will be interested to see if she can get the 'brew' to turn orange.
Liz and Carol are nearing Carol's home, and I hope Maggie will be happy to settle down to a usual routine once again after a long trek to Alaska and back. Liz will be facing HOT weather back in FL, for sure, but maybe she and Roe can swim now and then!
