Good Sunday Morning!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Sunday Morning!

Postby avalen » Sun Feb 01, 2009 8:20 am

ahhhhhhh, Mornin
can't say that I slept good, stayed awake for a long time, don't know why and
then woke up several times. But I do feel rested so I'm not complaining.
Coffee is mighty tasty and gonna grab the last banana and I think Zeee's
kitchen has some Biscotti somewhere here.
Hope everyone is staying warm and I feel bad for those in the icy regions.
I guess Kentucky is in really bad shape with lots of power outage. Times
like this makes me so grateful to be where I am. (I won't say that come
summertime when its 117 for 6 weeks straight)
I guess this is finally Superbowl Sunday, will have the tv on watch movies
all day, but will check into the game on occassion. Its gonna be a late game
so I'll probably be asleep by the 4th quarter. I'll also get outside a little bit
today and do a little yardwork. That means picking up dog do  and that
just means I gotta rake and make the gravel look good. I do miss having
grass but then I'd have to hire someone to mow so I guess its a good thing
they won't let us plant any.
Well, I guess I've rambled long enough, everyone have a great day and lets
see what your up to.

Good Morning, Ava, and all!

Nice 18 above zero here today----perfect weather for enjoying the snow, whether it be skiing or snowshoeing!

I forgot to say "RABBITS" this morning, as usual----talking to Molly right off the bat when my eyes popped open! Oh well----there's always 10 more months to try to remember!

I am so wishing I were where Sparkle is so I could walk along the beach and hear the gentle lapping of the wavelets. Maybe in a couple of years....until then, out I go to shovel off the deck again, try to avoid the avalanche of snow which could slide off my metal roofs at any time, and hit the trails for some snow fun.

Hope you all do something fun today, and check in to let us know what's up in your neck of the universe.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good morning. I'm off to church this morning, but have a few minutes to check what's happening here before I go. Later I'll need to call my grandson to find out who I should be cheering for in the Super Bowl. Hope you all have a blessed Sunday.

This will be the first Superbowl in a long time I can watch & not get upset. I don't have a fav this time. Just plan to enjoy the last game of the season. I still don't feel tip top this morning, but I did get a good night's sleep. I am feeling more rested which is a good thing. Had to clean up dog "sickness" this morning. One of my fosters Phoenix had gotten sick in the night. She seems fine now. They love eating pecans, and since we live in the middle of a pecan grove it's hard to keep them from it.

Hope you all stay warm today! :D

I'll try to write this fast
We are in Mazatlan in a big RV park. Not on the beach here, it is across the street in front of all of the big hotels. This town sure has grown. And it is full of Canadians and Northern states Americans. Don't ev en hear Spanish being spoken, nothing but English in the grocery stores.
Another expensive toll in the last two days of travel about 300 miles its cost US$66. The wifi is very iffy where we are parked, it just popped up so thought I'd say Good Morning and let you know we made it here. Will take lots of pictures.
Happy Feburary to everyone.
No TV for us here, but we do have phone and I can use my Air Card Verizon.

Morning All. I kept Lori and Kellie out till 1:30 in the morning at karaoke. I saw Kellie on the beach when Peaches and I went down for our walk, but no sign of Lori yet :) She took pictures (yikes, again, so did Kellie - so I could be in trouble without Sparkle here even!) I'm sure one of them will post something soon.

Meantime, woke up to an absolutely gorgeous day - had a good walk on the beach - and now am going to try to get website work done - then work inside the rv. So, so much I need to do! If I can get a good start in here, I'll be happy. Then, back to work tomorrow. Not sure if I'll go to poker tonight - will see what some of the others I go there with are doing later. Not interested in the Super Bowl. Ah, that's a blaspheme, isn't it?

Have a great day, all.

Good Morning to you all !!!
It's sunny here but cool - there's some frost on the ground, but it's suppose to warm up nicely so I'm happy :D
Not sure what I'll do today - if I'm smart, I'll go get the empty propane tank filled so I don't run out. I need to clean out my bedroom closet, it's a mess !! I don't watch the super bowl, so that's not on my "to do" list .
Happy February 1st !!! Enjoy your day.

Goooood Morning Sistahs!!

Been swilling coffee since I got up at 9am. And nope I didn't sleep in cause I didn't go to bed until 2am! My morning snack was toast and peanut butter. Yum I've been off reading email, Yahoo news and my comics. And just cruising the web snooping around.

Not to much on my 'to do' list today. Sweep and mop the floors and finish up my laundry is really about the extent of it. I might dig into some boxes I have stacked, go thru them and heave a bunch of stuff, not to sure yet? Got to catch up with the landlord today and pay rent. We would love to be out of here the end of March but just can't do it. We will still be working at ACT for the first 3 weeks of April so we will still need to stay here. Kelly had brought up the idea of staying in an extended motel room but that just will not work out. Have to work and can't leave Shade alone in the motel room by herself. She would be a good girl but I think all motels say that's against the rules and I don't really want to pay for doggy daycare. Although the cost of the motel room and doggy day care still might be cheaper than staying here in the house for a month. Might just say the heck with it and do it any way. But the last two weeks of April will be for traveling out to Arizona, being able to take our time to do a little site seeing and stopping to smell the roses. LOL The one place that I really want to stop is in Murfreesboro AR at the Crater of Diamonds State Park. I have wanted to go there since I was doing a dedicated run back and forth from Smyrna Tn to Laredo Tx. We have a friend in Murfreesboro Tn and one in Santa Fe NM that we want to stop and see on our way west.

David and Jenny are off to Hilton Va to work on the little house that they will be living in when they move out, so it's quiet here. Real quiet even with the TV going. It's amazing how much noise those two make. I like Jenny but boy I think David is gonna have a bumpy ride in life with her. ~sigh~

Well I suppose I had better scoot. I need to get dressed and call the landlord. I can start my floors and laundry after I find out what time he wants to meet up. We are having a beautiful day here, suppose to go up to 55f, sun is shining it's little heart out, I love it!!!

No super bowl in my house either. If David was home he would probably turn it on but with it being just Kelly and I football is not our thing. Now if I were in NY? It would be a whole diff story, I would be down to a friend's house at the yearly Super Bowl party. We watch the game somewhat and have a pool but it's more party than anything else! ;)

Hope ya all have a Super Day!! hehehe Stay safe and stay warm or cool which ever the case may be.

Love to all

Goofy weather in Maryland. It was 28 yesterday and 57 today so I washed the car. The sunshine was wonderful, better than Prosac. :) I will watch the superbowl and root for the Steelers even though they beat the Ravens. Have a fun afternoon.

Happy February 1st. Nothing really planned here today. I did some cleaning this AM and now some surfing online. The weather is nice here as well, around 55, was almost 70 yesterday in Oklahoma. Went for a bike ride yesterday. My niece bought me a fold up bike for my birthday and finally had a chance to ride it. It takes a little getting use to, since it has 20" wheels instead of 26". It will be absolutely perfect for the RV, which is why she got it for me. I can put it on the back seat or in the well of the truck or secure it in the camper. I think I will get a carry case for it so things will stay cleaner. I know, I have dogs, how clean will it be anyway. LOL No super bowl here either, maybe another bike ride. Have a happy rest of the day.
