Goooood Morning Sishtahs!!!
UGH....It's morning. And way to early too. Oh gads I woke up an hour early before my alarm went off. Only had it set to let me sleep 8hrs. Went to bed somewhere between 11:30 and midnight, played with Shade for a few minutes, shut off the light and crashed. Boy was I really ticked off when I woke up before 7am for that potty run. Tried so hard to ignore my bladder and go back to sleep. My bladder was having none of that and started throwing a tantrum, plus Shade was going to have none of Mom going back to sleep. Did my morning routine and then sat down here to find out what all you'ins have been up to and fell asleep right on top of my coffee cup. Hands over the top of the cup and my chin resting on my hands.
So glad my chin didn't fall off my cup and spill my coffee. Now that would have made a right mess and not to mention that it sat right in front of the keyboard of my laptop.
Barbz that little gal of yours all dressed in blue and her blond hair sure is a sweetie. But I am kinda partial to blondes!!!
Well had found a pickup I was really super interested in buying. 2000 Dodge diesel 4x4, extended cab, shortbox. Found it Saturday and test drove it. Ran good and drove great but it was actually after closing time so couldn't do nothing then. Plus I wouldn't without my David looking the truck over. So we went down yesterday morning at 9am when they open up. Got the truck again for a test drive, told them I had a diesel mechanic I wanted to look over the truck, they were agreeable. Needless to say they still own the truck and I don't. I pointed a couple things out to David and his buddy the diesel mechanic found things that would have meant I would have been putting to much money into the truck. It sure wasn't worth it. That the front seal leaked and was spraying oil into the alternator, one of the uni-hubs was going out ($400 for one and there's 4 of them) tranny fluid smelled a little burnt and he showed me where the hitch itself was worn on the bottom where whoever had used the truck to do a lot of towing but did not worry about load distribution. The hitch wasn't really that noticeable by eye, but he caught it and measured the thickness on the bottom edge and on the top. He told me he sure wouldn't want to be towing anything with out getting a new hitch. So all in all with what he found wrong, I found and David found? Like I said they still have the truck. After the purchase price I would have had to put anywhere between $3k up to $5k. Nope not me! Kids CAN come in handy once in awhile!!! LOL His buddy said he knows of a truck that someone was thinking about getting rid of. Truck is the same as what I was looking at only in way better shape, less miles and with the bigger diesel motor. Told me he would check with the guy to see if he still has it or if he's already sold it. Oh the price is better too.
I was really up in the air about getting a truck now as I will have to do financing . But I figure we will need a truck anyway, it's gonna cost me at least $1200 to get the Blazer ready to go and buy a utility trailer. Can use that money to get a truck without paying for the thing in all cash. Plus while still here I have David and his buddy to check out any truck I find, I have a years residency along with a year of solid employment. So I will be looking around for a truck.
As soon as I get my eyeballs totally and completely open I will be doing my income taxes out. I think???? I've got something on my W2 I have never seen before. Something called "Other Cafe 125" and the amount is $629.10. Danged if I have any idea what that is?? Also my gross wage is different than my reported W2 wages and the difference is that $629.10. Need to find out what that is before I get to carried away.
Ok I haven't even been to look at my email and haven't had my comic fix yet this morning. I think will mosey over yonder and check things out.
Hope ya'll have a great day, stay safe, stay warm and if it's raining in your neck of the country stay dry too!!!
Love to all
