Enjoyed most of yesterday watching TV in fact had a cramp from sitting so long..and boy was it ever filled with lots of emotions..both with the Former President leaving and the New President Entering...that process always amazes me..How the Staff gets one in and one out..and everything in the way you left it..Uh oh...they don't wanna do mine right now LOL cause I done watched TV all day...and it was a Good One !!

It seems most the Sista's too were busy watchin and I can't blame you all..as it truly was a Moment in History....but there were a few busy about..

Liz..she done got her Pleasure Way in her drive way and she's done cleaning that baby up...Hey Liz..you can come on down my way...I'd sure love ya to do mine...LOL nah..come have lunch or even super..heck you can stay over in the drive way..You'd fit...

Bethers we're anxiously awaiting here too.. Dotting all I's and Crossing all T's..that it won't be so bad....anyone ready to pass the hat around..just in case see we is praying like how you say, " it's smoothed over.".that it will be too...

Campfire is going nicely..and boy at night time we sure do need it....speaking of which...Fernie....I was so happy to hear from you...and sounds like everything is going well and Bash is doing pretty good...now as for swimming...not right now...Sunny Florida is under Mr Frosty and it's not the drink..

Stopped by and checked out the Show Your Rigs..and some pretty nice ones in there.... Hike (Dorothy) Your Born Free is really neat.. I have a girlfriend that got one a few years ago and she just loves it..just her and her little dog go to the dog shows..cozy too...!!

OutandAbout (Linda)..Like your Truck Camper.. I've seen lots of those too..and they sure are compact.. got your truck which will go anywhere and don't need to worry much about parking space.. my feeling is...If it works for you.. that's all that matters..like most of us have started small and traded up..and now some of us are gonna start trading down...again.. Loved that cutie chewing on a rawhide ???? LOL Cooper is certainly enjoying it...

WickedLady..( Marda)..OH I love that cute TT... my first one was a Yellowstone and about the same size..and ya know I loved it ! Easy to take care of no problem towing and boy I fit a lot of people in it..everyone always came to my house for snacks...LOL and yep gossip...

Gooooood Morning Sistahs!!!

Yep it's a cool one. Brrrrr Frosty and breezy on my back porch this morning. Go out with the dogs in my winter coat, jammies and house slippers. Oh goodness that breeze sure hits my heels and ankles and right the legs of my jammies. Talk about a wake up!!!!

Yesterday at work was a bust! Could not get on the computer at all so was unable to take any calls. There's about 6 of us I guess whose security clearance didn't come thru. Well Kelly's was ok? But for some reason now her password wont work. They tried all day yesterday to get the mess straightened out but Buffalo NY was having phone issues themselves and the security help desk couldn't help. ? Go figure. So we are hoping that today we can get things taken care of and actually do something today. Sat and twiddled my thumbs for awhile, did a whole lot of reading, have gotten thru 1/2 of my book and listened in a more than a few calls some of the others were doing. Not doing anything much sure did make the day go by slowly. And we were big time bored.

Lots of goings on here in the forum. Newbies posting, life styles changing, new rigs getting bought, travel being done, boo boos happening and lots of care and laughter!!!

Only caught a tiny bit of CNN on TV yesterday so missed almost all the hoopla out of DC. Only caught a few scenes of the crowd, parade and Obama and wife walking down the parade route. Tell you the truth as much as the powers that be are so freaky at the thought of terrorists??? I'm betting it was a major security nightmare up there. With past and new president, gov officials, the representatives from other countries, rich people, poor people, simply all the the people crammed into one area, can you imagine what shape the free world would have been in if any terrorist plot had been hatched???? Now for the life of me I simply can not remember her name?? Michelle? I think she looked beautiful in her outfit, but I would not have worn something like that only to spend 3/4's of the day outside. Good God she had to be about frozen. I know the whole world was watching? And she would have been dragged over the coals if she had dressed down. Awww he77 someone will still say something about she should have looked better or something. But I'll tell ya with the cold temps and the wind??? I would have been dressed a whole he77 of a lot warmer!!! Geeze he had a long winter wool coat on and there she was in her coat with only one button on it so that it flapped in the breeze. Why in the he77 are so many freaking people more worried about fashion than being practical??? There ought to be a dang law that says people (women) no matter their station in life can throw high fashion out the window and dress for the weather sensibly. There! That's my political rant for the day!!!

Ok, need to get my butt around. Get dressed, take the dogs out again and get my comic fix! LOL

good morning, I can't believe its hump day already, and of course yesterday I had to
keep reminding myself it was Tuesday and not Monday. But the weather is getting
nice, was able to turn off the electric heater yesterday and will do the same today.
Furnace hasn't kicked on for 4 nights now and when I open the door in
the morning, the air feels good.
The girls are up so guess I better get their breakfast ready and get my butt ready

Yesterday was wonderful .... I was in the cafeteria with grades 4-6 during Pres. Obama's swearing in. The kids really were into it,... We had tvs set up all over the school, and in the auditorium it was up on the big screen. Great fun,... and great Pride! The kids were excited, and the adults including me, had tears .. thinking "about time!" The kids only know what they read in books about segregation and prejudice and persecution,...back in time, we watched on the evening news. I think we all stand taller today.

Morning All!! Yep, I'm up earlier enough to be here in the AM.....

As per my Mom's insisting that we watch the Prez. getting sworn in every 4 years when we were kids, I still watch.....Especially cause it's history!!! He has taken on alot of work to do and we'll see what happens....to bring everyone on to the same page will be the hardest.....I pray he can do it......

So watching the celebration, I also defrosted and cleaned the fridge....hate that job..... Now to get around to straighten those pots and pans and the dishes....got to make sure everything is safe for hitting the road on the 30th....

Disney is giving active duty military, retirees, and their families a special pricing on tickets, so have been working on a visit to Mickey's House for us and the kids sometime soon......Our DIL and I have been burning up the cyber-space looking into campgrounds that don't cost an arm and a leg.....Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground wants $89 to $91 per night... So, have been "living" on the Woodall site comparing prices.... Anyone have any suggestions??

Okay, got to get me going....got my Coffee, Zeee, and it looks to be a nice day.....may give up on the fishing and try some crabbing today....we'll see...

Morning to all - not a cloud in the sky today so the Internet seems to be behaving. Along with everyone else watched TV yesterday. The kids (40 yrs old) next to us who are traveling in a truck camper came over to watch the swearing in. And just at that time the clouds cleared enough that there was no interuption of the TV service.
Quite cloudy most of yesterday with sprinkles again last night. Today is beautiful. Want to drive into the very little town down the road from us to check it out. And there is a cemetary right out in the middle of nowhere I want to go to.
Were without water most of day when it finally came back on it took the rest of the day to fill our tank. Before we realized we had no campground water we let the girl next door take a shower - told her take your time enjoy it. Oops - She did enjoy it though. Know how that feels. She is a gemologist so she and Bill have a lot to talk about AND she collects exotic beads from all over. Has some snake vertebrea on a string!
We are checking the map to see where we will go next - probably only about 150 miles down the road to the beach again. The only problem is there is no Internet there......
$89 a night for a camp space!!! geeze....

It was too cold to type this morning! My fingers were frozen! It was 22 here & has not warmed up over 40 all day. I hate the cold. I see a tropical place in my future for next winter. Hope everyone stayed warm today.
