Okay ladies here's the general itenerary. Straight out I-70 to Colorado Springs, then up to Estes Park to do Rocky Mtn NP for several days. Up to Devil's Tower for a night(maybe) and on up to Glacier for several nights. South again to Yellowstone for 4 nights. I want a day or 2 at Grand Teton, but it is really pricy even in the NP and not much else is close. Also want to go across the border to ID to see Craters of the Moon. Not sure if I should do Yellowstone, Craters, then Grand Teton OR Yellowstone, GT, then Idaho. Next is Dinosaur National monument in nw CO and then down to Mesa Verde for several more days. I'm looking for input on driveability etc. I like to stick to major roads when possible so there is somewhere to stop when necessary.I am kind of freaked by heights but I think I can handle it if the roads are decent. What do you all think? For those who don't know or remember I have a Class C, 29 ft and no toad. Will likely rent car at Mesa Verde so I can see stuff.
