It was a beautiful day, temp was just right and clear skies.
We went to Tempe Town Lake where the stable is. They rent
horses but Andrea's friend's uncle has his horses boarded there
so they were private horses, not stable horses.
The town of Tempe is to the left in the background
Sundevil Stadium, football for ASU
me of course and my daughter Andrea on the trail. Rode around trails of Papago Park, very rocky and very much
desert landscape.
our trail guide Mike, the man who owned the horses. The one he's on is a retired police horse, the one I was
on was a retired rodeo pick up horse. Those are the ones they use to run up and get the cowboys off the
bucking horses when the buzzer sounds.
Then of course it was time for dinner
Beef Chimichanga was my choice, I could only eat half of it then they brought on the free dish of fried ice cream
and sang Happy BIrthday. My first time for fried ice cream, that was weird stuff, but definately ice cream.
