I can strut my stuff


just hanging out keeping an eye on everyone and everything, I'm so superior way up here


I find this little blue dog very interesting


but enough of her, I can calmly walk away any time

its hard to see in these pictures but her eyes are blue. Now, the neighbor guy who knew
the guy that abandoned the cat and checked with him, and the story was that she was
spayed, well she isn't, she came into heat the other night and tomorrow she gets spayed.
It will cost me $53 and $12 extra because she's in heat. But I certainly can't be stressing
out over her getting loose and having kittens. I still think she's only about 6 months old.

Lacey is beautiful and you can tell she's happy as can be with her upper and lower haunts. So glad you rescued her.

She is a beautiful cat. Looks like a Himalayan. She looks very similar to that cat I took in for awhile back in MN who was a stray. I love those kind of cats. They are very sweet!

The vet should be able to tell approx how old she is. Glad you are getting her fixed! That is a really good price too!

She's really pretty. And yes, that is an excellent price. It just cost me over 200$ to have my male kitten neutered and microchipped.

She's a beautiful cat. You might ask where you are getting her spayed how they close the incision. The Spay and Neuter clinic where I was taking my barn cats used glue instead of stitches. I found out I needed to keep one of the plastic cones on my cats to keep them from licking the incision open.

Also you will need to make a bed for her close to the floor because she won't be able to jump for awhile because of the incision.

Lacey is doing fine, they used the kind of stitches that self absorb so no licking of course, have little cone collar
in case I need it. No jumping up on the shelf so she's in Bandits big old kennel. Poor thing stepped in her water
bowl and then walked in the litter box with the clumping litter. Now she has these humongous front paws all
stuck with clumping litter. I tried to wash it out but that made it worse, might have to trim it out with scissors.
In the meantime she's busy biting the clay bits off her feet instead of worrying about her belly. Vet said she's
about 9 months old and thought this was her first heat, mumbleing something about her uterus and swelling.
So...first and last heat but the current hormones will take about a week to work their way out of her system.
Oh yea, she weighs 5 and a half pounds, she definatley has some more growing to do.

Ava, don't let her eat that clumping litter on her feet. It's not good for them and may stick to her insides. I've had cats get that on their feet too. Just keep trying to wash them off with soap and water (use your fingernails to scrape it off the fur), and cut the fur (carefully!) if that doesn't get it all.
