I would put kiddy proof door locks except that Sophie doesn't open the doors, I've left them open or in the ant bait case, I was painting and had the door off. I thought I had gotten rid of all of the various baits that were in this house when I bought it - the woman had them all over the place and I've never seen any evidence of mice.

I know what you mean about long term treatable conditions. Sassy had a bladder problem that required two pills a day for her entire life and now Buddy is on pain meds for his arthritis twice a day. I just add it into the cost of my meds and we all take are pills together every morning and evening.

Hopefully, Sophie will be good as new soon.
