Too Early....But It Is Tuesday Morning...ALL!!

Yeap...I'm still up and can't seem to fall asleep, so since it is officially TUESDAY MORNING.....and in the Barbzeee tradition...
Good Morning!!!

I have good,strong coffee in Barbzeee's coffee pot....her pretty mugs on the table for everyone. Since I can't sleep have been baking. So I have Blueberry muffins, bagels with cream cheese, cinnamon rolls, and wait.....I found a whole container of Barb's favorite Biscotti mysteriously on the counter....Bet she slipped in and left them for us....

Okay....let see if I can give you all the updates from yesterday...

Fernie reports that Bash did well with her surgery and everyone is wishing her a speedy recovery...

I see that Asirimarco is enjoying her travels and has posted some really interesting photos of her trip....we all so enjoy them...

Sparkle had takne us on another "Tricky" adventure. I sure will avoid route 89A......

The Campfire is still going strong and thanks to Ernie & Echo the firewood is stacked high and the beer count, after my re-doing the figures, is 119....

My fish is on the supper menu for this evening....hope we catch another....

Okay.....I don't have any pretty artwork, but Barbzeee is the talent of this coffee clash...I do hope I did her proud with the updates, the coffee, and the goodies....

Now, I'll try the bed again....and see ya' all later....enjoy and maybe leave me a cup of java and a muffin .....

Good Morning!!! Thought I would beat everyone up this morning, I am just getting up and Lori is just going to bed. Couldn't sleep so thought I would check in and get the coffee going. Grabbed a cup and came online.

Lori that was a beautiful fish. I know you had a lot of fun out there fishing.

Bash so glad you are coming along good after your surgery. Good time to relax. Fernie will whip up that Thanksgiving dinner. Fernie will have to share my recipe for sweet potatoe yams with you. My mother in law taught me the SC way of making them and they are so good. One of the top things everyone wants at Thanksgiving besides the turkey.

Sparkle I was laughing remembering the situation with the paper plates. You are one adventurousome gal. I always enjoy coming on here to find out what you have been up to. One thing about it your life is certainly not boring. Be careful out there but keep those stories coming!!!

It is still cold here in Florida but the temps got up warm enough during the day yesterday that it was really a great day. Don't think it got quite as cold last night as they had predicted.

Barb glad you slipped that jar of Biscotti in, those are always so great with a good morning cup of coffee.

Now that I have had my Biscotti and cup of coffee think I will grab a few more hours of sleep before I have to get out of here to work. Have a great day everyone and keep those posts coming.

Well What Fun! So nice to come into the kitchen and find all those goodies and that GREAT coffee! Thanks to Lori and Nan!! I hope you two have now gone back to bed and are dreaming good dreams for your day today! YUM! I am having some of your blueberry muffins with cream cheese!

It's only 20 degrees out there this morning, and I see we have about another inch of snow on the ground. Forecast is for more snow today, possibly, and I am ready for it. If it's gonna stay cold now, I would love to be able to cross-country ski when I get home from school, rather than walk in the cold.

Of course, I would prefer being near the beach somewhere, as some of you are! But.....maybe next year. The more I think about it, the less it makes sense for me to keep on working when my salary gain each year is so slim it doesn't even meet the tax increases, the fuel prices, and health-care increases. The next couple of months will require some heavy-duty calculating and considerations for me to come to some sort of conclusion about retirement. It is a scary move in these tough financial times, to say the least.

And thanks for the run-down of events in good Barbzeee fashion. And biscotti, too! Wow, it's almost like our beloved Zeee is back at the helm in her own kitchen.

I didn't sleep well last night either Lori, we could have chatted on the phone as I was awake at the same time, but too lazy to get out of bed and hit the computer. I watched some tv instead.

Goooood Morning!!!

Well holy smokes! Got me all confused here. I don't really know if I should say Gooood Morning or Goooood Night? LOL I guess I will just leave it at both. That way I make sure the bases are covered.

Brrrrrrrr!!! Grabbed my coffee on the way thru the kitchen and took the dogs out. Jeepers jumped up crimity it's 22 on my back porch. I sure am glad that the dogs didn't feel the need to explore the whole yard and play this morning. The cold weather has gotten them frisky. Both of them have been doing puppy frenzies when they're outside. I watch them doing that and about P myself laughing at them. Shade started it yesterday morning and enticed Honey into starting. Good grief, fool dogs.

It was spitting snow crystals when I took Shade out for the last time before going to bed last night. But we didn't get anything, at least not here we didn't. I don't know about the higher elevations? They might have? But I think I will drag my other coat out of the closet for today and let Kelly have the one I've been wearing. She doesn't own a coat and every time I've tried to get her to buy one she wont. So I get her to wear one of mine. She does not like to be bundled up. So she wears the lighter weight one and I wear the heavy one.

Ok time for another cup of coffee and another trip outside. Then I'll check my other email and comics to get my fix for the day.

Morning All, I tossed and turned most of the night too. I am guardian for my 91 yr old father and stepmother and Sue is having oral surgery today. I am a hour away and of course I have to be at the hospital at 7:30. The responsiblity for these two who can not take care of themselves weighs heavy sometimes. How great that I can come for coffee, whine a little, hit the send button and feel better.

It sure must have been one of those nights. Went to bed at 10:30 , tossed around and slept a little, then up from 12:30 til 3 am. Driving into Tampa today for an appt and DH thought it was earlier than it was, so LOL he woke me up at 6:30. Really needed that coffee and yummies to get this day started. Morning! What the heck is this? It's 25...warmer in SD than the South? I'm waiting for my ride to show up...not my turn to drive to work today. Last week at Sam's Club I picked up a big box of biscotti came home and put them in the pantry...forgot about them until this morning...so I'm having two of them for breakfast...one for each hip! Have a good day everyone.

Weird morning. Although I didn't go to work at Amazon last night, I woke up at 3:45 a.m., exactly the time people were getting back from their shift. Maybe my mother-image or something was kicking in, making sure everyone got home safely. I answered a little email, then read for a while. Was finally able to go back to sleep. Although several of us finished off the mini donuts yesterday, I can offer whole wheat bagels with cream cheese and raspberry-flavored hot chocolate.

On the agenda today will be working on the RV flag, taking a long walk to make up for not walking at Amazon, visiting with friends, reading, watching a DVD, and so forth. It sure would be easy to get used to this life!

My goodness everyone is up early this morning. Here in New Mexico it is only 7:30 - thought I was up early - guess not.
Spent last evening after our marathon run across Texas yesterday 362 miles - The Driver is crazy sometimes. Any way we are in Tucumcari and I took lots of pictures of the murals and the old Route 66 buildings. While in Oklahoma City we went to the Cowboy Museum too - go there if you get a chance.
I have been keeping my blog up with more information on our trip so far. That's how our kids keep tract of their "crazy" parental units" as they call us.
Staying in a KOA in Tucumari that has cable TV and wifi. $30 a nite. Will see where we end up tonight.

Lori, This one's for you ! You did good !! I'm very proud of you....and the rest of the gals who've continued in my tradition...aaaah the biscotti always feels like "Home Sweet Home"...

Things have been a little rough lately and the family is handling it ok.. We've had some difficult time with the "news media" but that's to be expected. When something like this happens in a small town...it becomes a challenge to the news media to keep it active. However, do they ever understand how difficult it is for the families..

It's chilly here in Florida lately...but by mid morning it's warming up...and now soon it will be the holidays...as soon as we can all get through them I will be back !!!

Yes, I'll be sitting on my kitchen chair with my coffee pot "perking" welcoming you all in and as "Hedda Hopper" use to do ...Gossip, Gossip, Gossip...

I miss you all more than you can ever imagine.....I just need to get back to me. I know I'm in there somewhere...My satire and all..

Good-morning !!! What a busy place this is this morning. Maggie and I, didn't really enjoy our walk this morning, wind is really cold, not sure I am ready for winter this year. Nice weather in Texas and come home to this, maybe its just the change. Todays schedule is changed with this wind. Had planned to rake up some of the leaves that fell here while I was gone. They're blowing everywhere, maybe they'll go out of my yard Stay warm everyone, and hope you all have a great day, in spite of the irregular sleeping some of you did last night.

Good morning to all you early birds. Woke up this morning with both dogs under the covers all snuggled up to me. I had left both bedroom windows open all night and it was 32 when I got up. Brrrrr! Closed windows and turned heat on. Put on warm sweats when I get up and by around 11 need to change into shorts.

Good to see you Zeee - we're all thinking of you.

Bash, glad to hear your surgery went well. You'll be running all over in no time.

Lori - how are the guys egos doing with you catching the biggest fish?

Have tickets to the Nutcracker ballet on Saturday with my family. I've taken my daughter to see the Nutcracker every Christmas since she was five and she's 44 now. I need to dig out something dressier than my jeans to wear.

I slept like a log! Its hard work window shopping and touring around. Today I have to do laundry. Shona I think is getting senile. she p'd right in the middle of my bed. So down comforter, 2 sheets, underpad all have to be washed. I changed everything and had them in the truck. Put fresh bedding on and last night Bogie threw up - in the bed! So strip it all and laundry is now a must because I don't have any more replacements. Everybody in the bed is getting old, including me. I'll probably wet the bed tonight. Maybe I should put off doing the laundry just in case?
Don't you think its great Barbz, that the girls are keeping up your tradition while you are away? Just shows how much we need you. Thank you ladies, it makes a great start to the morning.

Good morning...I've been up since 5:30, but too busy to let myself get on here. Had to take Bandit to the vet at 7:30...he's being declawed (front) and microchipped today, poor thing. While I was in TX he destroyed the arm of one of my chairs, so the decision was made. He'll stay overnight and will come home tomorrow afternoon. I expect he'll be disgruntled for awhile.

I'm also packing up the MH...yep, going camping this weekend. Hope it warms up; it's supposed to. The beauty of living in FL is that I don't have to winterize the RV. I plan to camp at least once a month this winter since I don't have any long trips planned.

Loved the fish graphic, Barbzeee...very appropriate. I'll bet Lori's out there dropping her hook now to catch another one for dinner. Won't that crush the men's ego.
