Guess I'm confused ( nothing new), but didn't she say she bought a park model? If so, that is a mobile home.

She bought both, a park model and a Class C. The park model is going on her estate in Tn for summers, the C to travel in the winter.

Finally with my poor signal, pix of The Whim are on my blog page. It has been a hectic three days and I'm still not finished. I didn't not get both walk throughs done in time for them to deliver the Lodge on the same day, so I drove The Whim at night and set up for our first night. The bed sucks but that can be helped and everything else is just so compact. From all the stuff I had in Somewhere to not having much of anything it will be an adjustment. Had to decided I didn'thave to have everything at my fingertips. If I don't have it, I'll improvise.

Wow! I can't believe all you had stored in Somewhere! The smaller rig will be an adjustment, but you will work it out.

Wow! I knew you were thinking about downsizing but I didn't expect this much "down". Still, she's a beauty and you will adjust. I dare say with that Mercedes engine you'll enjoy getting good gas mileage. See you somewhere on the road.

Whim is absolutely beautiful, Carolyn! I love her size and her layout! Best of luck deciding what you can do without in your home-on-wheels! I hope I get to see it in FL this year!

I still have 2 big rubbermaid containers from when I downsized in 2006 and I only went from 27' to 23'. I try to remember to "shop" there first. lol You will enjoy the ease of parking a smaller rig and not having to worry so much were you are going.
