Sunday Blessings

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Sunday Blessings

Gooooood Morning!!!

Yep it's Sunday. And here I am up at the dang crack of daybreak! Good grief! I have no idea why the heck I'm up so early?? Got up and did a middle of the night potty dash at 2:30 so thought I would be good until after my alarm went off or even after. HA Woke up before the stupid alarm went off needing to do another potty dash, I was drinking extra water last eve. Well with getting up the second time that was it for Shade. She just knew it was her turn to go. So threw a cup of coffee into the micro to warm up, grabbed my jammies and the coffee on the way out the door. My bladder feels better, both dogs feel better and here I sit. :| Well I guess that will give me an early start on the housework and maybe I will take a nap this afternoon??? ;)

What's everyone doing today? Anyone doing something fun, exciting?? Or are ya'll gonna sleep in, be lazy slugs or do housework? Ya'll know that ya have to keep us stay at homes amused, right???

One thing about getting up early on a Sunday morning it sure is quiet out on the porch. Nobody else is dumb enough to do a potty dash and then stay up. Temp is 40 out there and it was so quiet and peaceful. I think in the 20 minutes that I was out there I heard maybe 4 or 5 cars out on the 4 lane. And it would be even better if we were living out in the boonies or in a campground!!! LOL

Ok guess I had better check my other email and see what's up.

Hope everyone has a beautiful blessed day. Be safe.

Love to all

Morning all - cool here today too - below 40 - Bill turned the furnace on when he got up so it nice in here now. Well we have finally set a "Get in and Go" date - we'll be leaving Indiana on Wednesday (we think - there is a big storm headed this way, but it is supposed to be here Tuesday) So today and the next few days will be hunting for my lists and crossing off things. Have to remember that Tues is a holiday and do the in town things on Monday. Still debating about getting a Verizon AirCard - can get it on a month to month basis but have to pay full price for aircard up front. And it doesn't work in Mexico. Will make up my mind before we leave Vegas.
Guess today I'll clean our bedroom and bathroom really good and put any clothes I think I want with us in the Alfa. Have already cleaned upstairs and downstairs really good. Need to prune the roses too - wished I'd done it when it was a little warmer.
Guess I'd best get going....

Good morning Carol and Echo! thanks for getting the coffee on! I'm up, but barely moving. Yesterday was the school's 75th anniversary celebration. i was one of the co-chairs of the committee. We had meetings for 14 months ahead of time, and it turned out to be a great evening. But i'm so exhausted from the work getting it set up and the worry about would anyone come that i'm not doing much today except sit in the recliner and watch a movie.

Yes, we did have a good crowd, and at the time of the Welcoming remarks in the auditorium almost every seat was filled. Big hit was the repeating slide show of athletic teams pics beginning in 1933.

OK,... going for my second mug of coffee,.... have a great day everyone!

Good morning. Roe and Maggie woke us up early, wrestling and playing. Carol and I are leaving the gtg this morning and will stop to see the LBJ ranch. Then we're heading for a COE campground in Grapevine north of Fort Worth and will visit with my nephew and family before heading back east. We sure have had a fun time here and I am so glad to have met everyone.

Safe travels to all.

Blessed Sunday morning indeed, good morning everybody
I got to sleep in, at least when I woke up the radio was on so that is sleeping in for me.
I have to catch up on chores today, yesterday I had to go to work for a 4 hour training
thing everyone is required to do. They are teaching a defensive driving course every
saturday til the end of the school year and we all had to sign up for which saturday
we wanted, I picked the first one, my thought is get it over with and I had a full week
schedule so the time spent in the classroom was "OVERTIME" hehe. Anyway, that of
course put my schedule behind and only got half the laundry done and none of the
dishes so guess I'll be doing the rest today.
We got new uniforms at work, black polo's so now I have to add another load of
laundry on the list AND have to decide each day what to wear to work, hmm black
polo uniform or old white uniform, too many choices,
Finally got my good computer finished from the rebuild my friend was doing on it.
This last time he had it he departitioned it, made it one bigger hard drive and was
able to download a good virus scan. Don't ya know it found a trojan right off the first
scan, so took care of that and we're good to go.
Ready for more coffee, and read my other email. Enjoy your sunday.

We're up early today and will eventually head on over to Karen's (Retiredhappy) winter park on the other side of Kerrville. As you know, whether it's moving across the U.S. or across town...all has to be drained, wrapped up, stowed, and tied down... so lots to do.

Once we ge set up again, it will be laundry day..that's always such a treat. Come evening news time tonight, I will settle in and watch T.V. till my eyes can't stay awake anymore. I didn't think I'd miss not having the tube this much, but I'm having news withdrawls and of course, I've got to see what those crazy housewives are getting into...

Coffee cup is drained so time to get in gear. Be safe if you're travelling, be warm if you're having winter, and be happy wherever you are today!

good morning to ya'all. Its cool here this morning. Boo Hoo - all the sisters are leaving this morning except for Jill and Tommy who are coming with me for a few days. I've had so much fun and am really going to miss all the ladies. Haven't laughed this hard in years. Kerrville is going to seem lonesome without the ladies. Oh well, March isn't too far away.

Yep, I had a great time and now it's time to head back to Port A - have to work tomorrow. I have almost everything inside ready to go - just need to wash out my coffee cup when I finish my hot chocolate, then I'll head outside to do the unhooking, etc. Usually only takes me about 15 minutes. I hate to leave, but they are showing winds picking up on the gulf shores this afternoon - so I should get going earlier than intended and be home before they get too bad.

Take care all and have a wonderful day!

Good late morning, you all!

It's 39 outside today, and I have a lot to do out there. I went shopping in the 'city' yesterday, and bought some new rope-type Christmas lights for my deck and covered porch...in hopes the kids will show up for at least part of the time at Christmas. I also got me a Pedi-Paws animal toenail filer from Bed, Bath, and Beyond! So far, both Molly and I are having a hard time getting used to it! Hopefully we'll get better as time goes on!

I love having two more whole days of freedom this week! Will put off doing laundry for another day.

Glad you all had such a great GTG down there in the warm southern parts. Hope all of you get safely to your next stopping place. I will go check the GTG thread after I sign off here...hoping for some final pictures, perhaps!

Have a fun day!

Happy travels!
