He looks so much like Nicky. It is heartbreaking how many people are still missing pets or who have had to give them up because they can no longer care for them as they try to rebuild their own lives. This little guy at least gets another chance.

This story is just amazing. He has had surgery and is doing well. I would adopt him in a heartbeat. What an awesome dog. Linda

I could not watch that video, I started to but could not bear seeing that poor thing walking on broken legs. I'm just too emotional.
It breaks my heart. So many other little pets that may have survived but can't get back to their people.

Wow, thanks Sarah. To think of what Mason had to go through to get home, breaks my heart that his owners couldn't find a way to keep him.

Great story. My guess - the owners gave him up because they couldn't afford the care he would need. I could never give up one of my animals - they are family. That's something I have trouble understanding - although sometimes I do know there is no choice. For me, I'd live on the streets first. That said, Mason is an incredible dog. Gave them unconditional love, so much so that he dragged himself home. I sure hope he ends up with someone who will love him forever.

And, yes, Sarah, he sure does look like Nicky.
