Puppy Update

Postby Ladyhawk » Sat Apr 23, 2011 10:07 am

The kennel idea has worked wonderfully. I haven't been able to walk him since the surgery, so my mom is walking him after I leave for work. All she has to say is "Kennel up!" and he jumps right in. He learned those words after just a few tries. He has his bed, snuggly toys, and a chew toy. Most importantly, my sofas have been saved. Thanks for all of your suggestions!

thats great news, wish my girls would do that. Bandit used to and so did my cocker (Cinder). Unfortunately,
Gracie got me trained before I got her trained. :(

Some smart dogs alright! :D :D :D :D When someone tells me about how their Terrier just won't do anything they say...I remind them it isn't because the dog is stupid.

Hope you are continuing to heal and feel better everyday.

What a good puppy, and what a good mommy to get him trained so well!

Make sure you get enough rest, Amy, even if you have to do just half days for a bit. Most schools have all the 'major courses----math, English, reading, science, social studies------in the mornings, and most of the adjunct courses like music, art, and phys. ed. in the afternoons, which other than homeroom teachers plan for and teach, so maybe you coud just work mornings and keep up with your morning plans? Just thinking here. Glad to know your mom is helping you out, too.

Good job, Amy. Makes life so much happier when all are trained. At first, wasn't sure which "puppies" you were talking about   carold
