Karen, I have the flag and will bring it along.

Colleen, Sure hope you can make it. We can caravan down if you want. Well, actually, I will go down to Goliad and spend the night before going on down and then will stop there on the way back. It's only a couple of hours away, and they have a great park there. I would prefer to make that drive than stay at the other joint to dump.

Vickie (the nice one) wanna caravan? You are a good caravaneer.

Sharon, we will have a spot saved for you.

Diana, do you want to meet up with us in Schertz (north of San Antonio) and go down?

Ali, Hope you and Ron can make it down. It is a really nice location for dry camping. Normally lots of folks along the ocean there.

I sure hope it is nice and warm, like Florida is right now. 8:54 p.m. and 68*. We will have to do some birding, walking and towning that week. If we are lucky we will have bunches of flowers on the roadside like last year.

Hey Birdie, thanks for offer to meet up in Schertz, but I won't be going that way, my usual route via highway 183. Looking forward! :)

Karen, Liz has donated a prize that is very nice. She finds she is unable to use with her rig. It is quite nice. Yes this is a teaser for you ladies to attend.

Man if the weather is as nice there as it is here today, yesterday and probably tomorrow, we will have a great time. Okay, :( probably have a great time anyway.

Birdie
I knew I read something from you with my name on it in the last several days and have been hunting through my email and PM accounts until it finally dawned on me to come back to the Port Lavaca GTG. If things work out to where I can go to Port Lavaca, I think caravanning down would be great. It sounds like there might be quite a group down there. My only "dry camping" with this rig has been overnight in a Walmart, Sam's, or Meyers parking lot last summer--no real boondocking. I just have one battery right now but if the weather is decent I should be able to handle it for a couple days if I am conservative. We have a very small generator which I have never used so I may have to check that out. It sounds like you know right where we will be camping.

You need to run your generator monthly- to keep it in good working condition. And running it a bit everyday will keep your one battery charged. I boondock for weeks at a time with only one battery - it's doable :) And you'll have a great time in Port Lavaca - one of my fav locations. I'll be with you all in spirit!

Birdie, I'll be there, just not sure when.
We will be having a bday party for the GD, probably on the 2nd, so I most likely leave here the 3rd or 4th.....
I know you'll save me a spot ( I take up sooooo much room)!
I'm not lost, I'm on an adventure!

Me too but I can't. My DH is having knee replacement surgery April 19 and we are trying to get everything lined up for that. I would so like to go to the Port Lavaca GTG but not this year.

We are bummed as we won't be able to join y'all in Port Lavaca. I have been sick with both a bad cold and intense allergies and just don't think traveling would be good for me for awhile. Hopefully there will be another get together soon and we can join in. And remember if you are coming through D'Hanis, Hondo or San Antonio give us a shout so we can try to get together that way. Have a ton of fun!!!
