Sophie One year Later

Postby retiredhappy » Fri Feb 11, 2011 11:59 am

Just looked at the calendar and found that I've had Sophie for one year. Thought you might enjoy seeing some pictures. She had no problem at all adjusting to sleeping on the bed and wants to be under the covers where she's just a little heat generator. Sophie confiscates the bed to herself and Sassy and Buddy sleep on the sofa, butt to butt, during the day.

Can't get a picture of Sassy and Buddy on sofa; black dogs on black cover. The only thing that shows up are their red collars.

On the one hand, it seems like you've had each other forever, but it's hard to believe it's been a year already.
What a face! You two are sure lucky!

I am so intrigued as to what breed she is. I just adore her sweet face! Lucky you, Karen!

As for her breed, my vet "thinks" she's part English cocker and some type of hound (big feet, short legs) possibly bassett. There is an outfit that for $150 will do a DNA test and tell you what she is. If I ever win the lottery I'll go for it. In the meantime, doesn't that little face just grab you? Its so much fun to watch her just sucker people in by looking up at them.

Doesn't seem like she has been around for a year. She is just a cutie.
