Any of those pics would be great, blown up and framed or as a background on the computer.

Just when you thought we were done playing...... :D I will try to limit the duplicates but when there are three different camera going.... :) At this point I can't remember if I posted the pics from out first kayaking venture out onto Blue Cypress Lake, so I will just start the the pontoon ride mentioned by Beth and Liz.....

I really like the lines and color on the lake dressed in winter gray mist....

There are several sun rise pictures.....I really like the swirls and colors on the clouds as they are reflected off the lake.

his one actually is of the sunset over the camp area as I was coming off the lake in the kayak the evening before.

Image

This was one of the few 'gators we spotted from the pontoon...but then the sun was not out and there was no motivation for the big guys to hang around on the shore line.

This one is a brief video that I took the night before, trying to give you an idea of just how many birds are/were all around. As Liz statesd there were Osprey pairs in almost every tree...plus the vultures and the Blue Herons..... Just click again on the picture to open the video.....

Image

This video is mostly of just the one pair. The male had a fish in his claw and was trying to fly in and present it to the female. Our lake guide on the pontoom...the real Mr Middleton himself.....did say that the males are the ones that pick up the nesting materials and fly them in and the female is the one that "approves" or "disapproves" the material.

What a great place you all are at, thank you for all of the pictures, videos and the sunsets, sunrises, etc. After living in Fl. for 50 yrs. , I could just feel the essence of every picture, of each area. I have been in such areas, swam with gators, ( a kid then and not to smart) years ago, gators were not a problem though, I have gone hunting for them, it was allowed, people did not feed them, therefore they didn't want to eat people. But they would attack if cornered. Anyway, thinking back while looking at all of your pictures and reading what you have been doing, relived some of the great adventures, I had so many years, ago. Snakes falling in the boat, inner tubing down the springs with gators and snakes along side the water way. Don't think anyone was ever bothered, by them. swimming across the big lake we lived on, when my sister skiing jumped over a huge gator, there really was no worries about them waaayyyyy back then  Its been wonderful, thank you all, I really can't explain How Much I have enjoyed your time there.

So, to all of you who have taken the time to post for us at home, I Thank you so much !!! Of course, all of you being such good photo people, really made it great.

Have more fun and share the pix, Please !!

love the otter in the road pic. I still think some of our animal sightings and pics are out of "Central Casting." These critters sure know how to make an appearance and get noticed. :) :)

Yesterday is now on my blog - where I met my friend Robbie and one of her friends, Sarah and Tina in Fort Pierce - did the Green Market (Farmer's Market and crafts), lunch and visited the manatees.
