Gooood Morning to everybody.

Uh oh! Looks like Barbz is leaving the morning coffee post to us rookies again. And I know that none of us will even come close to filling up the table like she does. ~sigh~ Best grab some of her great coffee and Biscotti while we have the chance!!!

Quite morning here today, rather nice out on the back porch this morning. Even Shade took her time doing her thing this morning, she had to explore the whole back yard before she would come up on the porch. And I wasn't shivering out there this morning either. It's that in between time when the peepers have gotten quiet and before the birds start in. It was funny the other morning. I went out there and there were no peepers, the birds hadn't started yet and the only noise was from the traffic out on the highway. All of a sudden one lonely little bird cheeped a few times and it was like an on your mark, set and GO signal, about a half dozen answered that one brave little soul. And then it was HEY everybird join in. LOL

Kelly and I are counting down the days to our weekend away. We called and got reservations for a camping cabin. Yeah I know that's cheating. But to tell ya the truth? I wasn't interested in maybe setting up the tents only to maybe have it rain on Sunday and having to pack up soaking wet tents. Nothing fun about bringing home wet tents and needing to open, unfold and lay them out to dry. Called the one campground that we were interested in only to be told because it was a holiday weekend that we would have to reserve and pay for a 3 night stay. Forgot all about it being Columbus Day on Monday. sheesh So of all places we got a cabin at the KOA in Pigeon Forge. We only had to get it for 2 nights and it will be cheaper that the first campground. We didn't really look at the KOA cause we thought it would be to expensive and Kelly thought that the website said that they didn't have any left open. ?? Maybe someone canceled and we just lucked out?

Well there is another post I am gonna answer and it's getting to be that time. Kelly's alarm has gone off so I need to get my butt in gear, get dressed and ready to go. Blech

Hope everyone has a great day and stays safe. Barbz??? Ya'll be careful on that drive to Florida don't run any truckers over!!! We will all be looking forward to your first post from the sunshine state.

Hooooboy! I'm feeling the weight of the responsibility here,..... Ok gals, let's take this one for our sister, Zeeee! We love ya and will do our best gal!

As far as life here,... worked another 11 hr. day yesterday,... will again today,... but oh, I can almost smell the end it's getting so close. And then i get the pay so even though it's been long hours it's not been hard work,...just data entry and printing the tax receipts and taking deposits to the bank. But there is a bear of a report that will have to be done at the end in early November.

So,.... I slept a bit too late and now I must rush,.... ttfn!

I've been up awhile-been raining everyday, but it does bring down the temps. DH wants to go look at a larger Class A now that the prices have fallen some (or at least they will deal.) Of course, the sales of Rv's have fallen rapidly and the manufacturers and dealers have negative cash flows, so who knows if any warranty will be good. Will be going to our winter home in Sarasota-Sun N Fun- from November thru March. carold

That coffee sure sounds good this morning!! Barbzeee----have a safe trip. I'm glad you left some others in charge too to keep Echo in line!! LOL Echo---have a great time in Pigeon Forge!! Sounds fun but it will be packed probably. Oct. is usally a bear there!! Traffic is unreal but it is nice. I remember those long days Cedar and I don't envy you!! Have a great day ya'll. well good morning ladies
sure is cool this morning, dogs didn't spend any time outside investigating stuff,
they did their business and came right back in and went back to bed. Just going
to continue my fall cleaning, wash walls, curtains and such. I know thats not very
exciting but the extra things do need to be done from time to time and since I'm
off all week its just about as good a time as any.
On my second cup of coffee and turning on the news to check with the rest of
the world and checking in on my forums for a relaxing breakfast before I get
busy.

Good Morning all!

Had my best night's sleep in weeks last night. Wish I knew what I did to cause it, as I'd replicate it often Peaches finally talked me out of bed with her stare shortly after 7 and we went right on down to walk the beach. After we finish that I always hose her down, to hopefully get most of the salt and sand out of her - then we have to walk another 15 minutes before I'll let her inside - so was 10 before we came back in - and here I am.

We've been seeing mainly garbage come up on the beaches with high tide now (after the original furniture, whole showers, etc - then several days with nothing, the winds turned and now mainly garbage) but yesterday morning, a boat washed up. I was working and took a brief break to go down and see it in case it was gone before I had the chance. This moring, I took my camera, so I'm about to see if any of the pics turned out. Was a bright sun in a very hazy sky - and I had to look towards them to take the pics, unfortunatey - but if I got anything (took pics of some garbage, too) will post them later.

On a really good note, they had an employee dinner for all the workampers last night and we got our summer bonus. That put a big smile on my face. I have to hope I can move that to my savings and keep it for the Alaska trip - which I know is going to take lots and lots of my money. We don't get bonuses for the winter season - and I'm cutting my hours down, so I'm going to have to get really frugal - or spend more time working my internet businesses to support me.

Oh, no..... Barbzeee left us to our own vices again..... Well, I'll try to get here earlier than I have lately....
Still cloudy and raining off and on today......so no site-seeing.......hence I'm making the walk to the laundry doing that chore today.....Sent Ernie out to buy himself another pair of jeans....he brought lots of shorts, but only 1 pair of jeans......told him he's going to have mighty cold legs this winter even in TX unless he gets another pair..... Other than that, we'll probably do stuff around here today.....

Good morning, ladies!

Well, it's supposed to be beautiful here until the weekend, about which the weatherperson used the "F" word (FREEZE!) and the "S" word -- snow! So I'm out in the garden doing my early fall cleanup (getting what seems like MILES of hedges all butch-cut).

When I had my yard re-done a couple of seasons ago, I "widened" the driveway with gravel to make room for my RV. Well, that RV was seven feet shorter than my current baby, and I've driven off the track (LOL). So my other BIG job is to pull out more sod and bring in a load of gravel to further widen the driveway. Wish I had those big muscular hired guys (sigh!) to help me with it this time.

Oh, that's right ... I have a big muscular son ... hmmmmm. Maybe when the gravel is delivered he can come over with a friend or two and make short work of it. But pulling wet sod is quite enough work in and of itself. (You shoulda seen me trying to move the garbage can FULL of said sod to the curb last night!) LOL. I also need to move some sprinklers in the process.

A condo is starting to look kinda good.

Glory Be! The sun is shining and the solar panels can finally do their job so the genny isn't constantly on. Another rain storm came in last last night...I was ready, brought in the main side so we wouldn't be rocking so much. At least it was not as nasty as the other day ...now that was scary!!!

Nonni's Biscotti has a new Lemon flavored Biscotti...YUM!!! Had to stop myself with two and wanted more!

Still catching crabs.....31 total now and still catching.....lordy I am glad I am freezing these flat in the freezer! Sealing them in those new Reynolds quart size self seal bags. Has a little pump that draws the air out of the bags. Works good since I have to get a new seal for my big seal-a-meal when I get home. I'm putting 2 cups of crab in each one. Just enough for crab & cheese omelets and crab salad. I don't do casseroles. Need some of the recipes from the gals here from their appetizers. Hitting the road to Brookings Oregon on Thursday, last stop in Oregon.

Getting closer to Halloween, I'd put up George & Witchy-Poo but we have sticky fingered people down here at the marina so can't bring them out of the Jeep.

Ok Jenny, that has put me in the mood!!! This Halloween we will be going to one of my best friend"s daughter's wedding. She and her fiance are a hoot and they want guests to wear masks and those that want can come in costumes. This daughter has always been off the wall and it seems as though she has found a match made in----maybe the pumpkin patch. Hope we don't find our new rig covered in toilet paper. 'cause I will be VERY CRABBY! carold
