Monday morning and it's Fall...yes, it's the first day of fall...and remember that saying.. Fall forward and Spring back...alnog with that goes the clock...for most of us.. it's that dreaded lose.. that hour that we have to give up... I protest !! Why, should we have too...grrrrrrrrr...now I do believe you all that are in AZ don't have to do that..you just never have to change your clock...for all those in favor of not wanting to go along with the program.. cast your vote... now this is worth voting for...messin' with out precious sleep...geeeez...What a way to start my day and along with that I have the race to get things done...Yep, I have the hospital check up this morning..scan test my arteries and make sure no new blockages...Carotid Artery Scan.. with and without contrast.. I'll drive on up and then after that head out and do a little shopping.. for things I cannot find in Florida... I have my lists of what I need and then head back for the Laundry day... lucky me now let's see what's been happening since I last visited...

Seeya Gal... (Jenny and Dan) I want to wish you our sincere condolences on the loss of your friend, Gaylord Maxwell.. founder of Life on Wheels.. From what I've read he has put a lot of impact on the lifestyle for us RVers.. I've never had the opportunity to attend any seminars of his ...but for all those that have, I've heard nothing but great stories and lots of wonderful helpful tips... His memory will truly live on.. !

Sparkle, Beth and SeeyaGal.. oh I have a recipe for you all..being that you are talking Tequila.. yep it's Tequila Shrimp and Asadero Quesadillas... I'll post it in Recipes.. (Hint Hint).. you all made me start thinking of what I had had..and yep, I thought how apropo for you 3...and for all of you others that would like this simple tasty dish...easy as pie...

Sparkle and Bethers .. some how I have this vision of you too.. going into Mexico..this is gonna make for some good reading... all stay tuned as this could actually turn into a unusual story...

OregontoCal (Chris) what great pictures loved that ocean.. just looking at it you can almost hear them waves...good to hear you are gonna take some time out...and relax a bit..and Snowball (Sheila) has a great thought.. yep when you start on your journey to Kansas.. you could hit the tip of Texas..that will certainly fill those colors up on that map... and say "Hi" to your friend Lou from all of us and Chris .. none of us wouldn't have noticed that Table cloth.. LOL

Fernie, haven't heard from ya.. but letting ya know that campfire is still going strong...tonight I'm gonna have to come sit by it with all and make some smores..ooooooh that's a good fix...it's gonna feel good too cause here we is getting more and more of a chill..

Ok, sista's I need to get on a roll here too...have to get my critters done .. can't have my coffee till after testing.. duh... but I'll most definitely have my thermos with me...gonna hop in the shower and get ready for my drive... but I do have my pot of coffee on for all of you... heck what kind of a host would I be if I didn't...

Good Morning and Happy First Day of Fall! This is my favorite time of year, I just love the colors and crisp air. I spent all weekend piddling around here and watching football. Our family's favorite sport (other than Nascar). It was such a nice relaxing weekend and I feel like I got a lot of things done. This week looks to be as busy as usual, so I wanted to say Hello while I could. Everyone take care and have a great week!

Regarding the tablecloth, remember I said I took the picture early last year? That tablecloth got wiped out in the rain and snow last winter at a campground up in the mountains. So, Lou and I stopped at Wal-Mart on the way to the desert yesterday--he to get a new belt and me to get another $4.99 tablecloth. And, it's almost like the other one - fall colors.

Just a quick fly by to grab some coffee and a corn muffin, I'm running late this morning. Got up late and then dozed off here at the table. Kelly woke me up when she came out thru. I hate working Sunday nights. We get home and I'm just not ready to shut down and go to bed. Got to unwind first.

I'm certainly having a hard time waking up, just started my second cup, trying to
get the brain working here. Hope all goes well on your test Barbz, then you can
enjoy your coffee.
My puppers are certainly quiet this morning, they must not realize its monday
yet. They will figure that out soon as I put my uniform on.
Now, to get my third cup of coffee, get dressed and out the door for a great
day.

let me know how it turned out, I'm getting some flour today so I can try it myself.

Good morning all! I'm back home after my wonderful beach trip. I must have gyspy or beach bum blood in me, cause coming home ain't no fun! I learned so much about my RV on this last trip. I'm having a driving lesson this week. I really want a Class C but this big ol' thing is what I've got, so I'm going to try to live with it for a while. We wanted to go to FL this winter, but with gas prices, we may have to settle for the SC beach again. DH is not nearly as happy camping as I am, so I want to learn to do it all my self. Me & the Naked Pups can spend the holidays at the beach, & let old grumpy sit at home!!

I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Gaylord Maxwell. He sounds like a wonderful man. Wish I'd had the opportunity to meet him.

Happy first day of fall to everyone. The days here in Kerrville are still pretty warm but the nights have cooled off enough to open the windows. Lovely. I'm, for now, really enjoying my "I don't have to be anywhere at any certain time". Going to do laundry today. Still waiting for them to heat up the indoor pool. Yes, I'm a wimp. I do miss all the trees I had at Schreiner Park but I don't miss all the little no-see-ems that drove me crazy. Getting cool enough to sit outside for a while in the evenings. Have a LOT of those grass burrs around here right now (welcome to Texas) and my poor puppies can't take two steps without getting them in their paws. Well need to go walk the puppies and get another cup of coffee.

Good morning, good morning......What a difference a couple good nites sleep make......got up about 6:15am....got my coffee, watched the news, and did a little work on the baby afghan.....Ernie was up at 7am...got him his coffee....then got dressed, picked up and washed last nites snack dishes, and now have a load of wash going in the house......Donna & Mike's 1st grandson arrived at 8:15am....by c-section.....Adam weighed in at 8 pounds 3oz......he has 3 sisters, ages 11 yrs. to 16 months.....Ernie took his morning walk with Donna & Mike's dog, Niki, and now he's watching the TV in the house.....

Well, that's all the news here this morning......will go read what's going on later as it's time to put the clothes into the dryer....
