An unexpected GTG in Utah

I got a call last night to join Barbararose (Barbie), Bikerchic (Linda) and Snowball (Sheila) for dinner in Salt Lake City. Barbie is on her way to a new adventure in California and is caravaning with Linda and her non-forum friend Colleen to the San Diego area. We were joined at dinner by Linda's Utah friend (OMG I've forgotten her name already!).

We laughed and carried on and took over our little corner of the restaurant. Sorry no pictures from me, but Barbie and Linda got some good pictures, which I hope are forthcoming. I only had my non-flash iPhone with me. Oh, well.

Really! I was waiting to comment till the pics were posted so I wouldn't have to comment twice, but I guess they have to wait till they have a connection or time. It's not like they're doing anything but driving cross country! Surely they stop some time during the day!

we did have a very nice time! Barbie and Linda were leaving today for Vegas...not sure how long that part of the trip was taking them...
I didn't even think of taking my camera...not that I would have figured out what to do to post them...so we will have to be patient

Had a nice visit! It was so nice to meet Janice and Sheila. I wish I could have visited more with Janice. I sat next to Sheila and we had a nice visit, but we should have played musical chairs at some point so I could get to know Janice, too Too hard to hear the conversation between she and Barbie with the noise in the restaurant. Dinner was great! I recruited a cute young guy at the bar to take our picture He was so willing and nice so I bought him a beer

We are in Beaver, UT tonight and leave for Vegas in the morning. I will start another thread for our other photos. I put some on the campfire last, but not everyone would know to look there.
