Sunday, Morning Gone Fishing ! I couldn't resist doing this cutie up.. cause you know it just seems everyone is in a hurry or busy doing something..and wow..hey ..stop and enjoy it.. like go Fishing...don't have to stick a pole in the water ..but you can surely sit by the water and just appreciate the view...Our lives go by so quickly..I mean days are just passing by and before ya know it, another year has gone by...!! Take some time out and just relax..I mean look this is the last weekend of Summer and tomorrow Fall begins.. Today for me I'm just gonna sit out on my porch...read the paper, talk to a few neighbors that pass by..and get to watch sunset..that's all I'm doing..that's my fishing day ...peace and tranquility..aaaaah sounds good to me... I made a pot of Meatballs and Sausage and it's Sandwiches..toasted roll and mozzarella with a hint of parmesan..works for me !! Make it a Simple Day...Read what has been happening with the Sistas....and speaking of which...

Good news for MsBHaven (Margie's) Grand daughter..there is a blessing .. it's benign..Now that is some terrific news and Margie we all have been praying for you and your family..

Oregontocal..(Chris) loved your day four.. Yep I'd be at home in that cheese factory...also love the topic on the Wind Turbines...I learned a lot about wind mills long ago went to Holland..and learned of the many different types and how each one was used differently on the farms..went inside one... and just had my imagination running away with itself..yeah I could see us all using these to help us ..in fact I read a few years back when people were putting something similar in their back yards and cutting their usage from the power companies.... now I did read also some device to go on top of the RV's like the solar panels...hooked into batteries..well in fact many moons ago we used those water mills for energy too..See, if we give them engineers a few boost we can certainly start cutting our costs..and saving Mother Nature her headaches..

Beth and Sparkle planning a visit to Mexico..hey, sure wish I was going.. sounds interesting..fixing teeth buying booze and haggling.. hey all right up my alley... !! Good one Sista's....this should be a good story when they get back ..:)

Nakepupsforme (Micki) is still fighting the case of the tiny ants.. and they truly are buggers..but once you rid of them inside.. the outside part is simple..paint them lines going in to the rig and around them tires..also the door coming into the rig..yeah they find and opening and they come to visit....also don't forget about the 20 mule team borax..that's the Gem of the ocean.. I dust through my rig and leave it for a few days come back in and vacuum..and nothing lives through that.. LOL

Haven't heard from Fernie..so sure is hoping she and Bash are having a blast in Charleston ..cause knowing Fernie she just loves them crowds...she bubbles with excitement.. and boy look out for her surprise... Enjoy Fernie and Bash and post when you can...

Ok, sista's it's that time I'm gonna have my coffee pot going..those who have been lurking come on.. join in.. we just love hearing all that you have to say and then some !

Echo, Cedar, Ava...coffee is on and I have made some banana blueberry muffins..and boy are they good toasted with a dab of butter..ooooooooh my Paulette, Shrilv..come on RV Granny (Lori and Ernie) sure hope you feel well rested..see ya gotta put that pole in the water..and take them breaks...
All please do join us..nothing finer than to sit around the table and just say "Hey" ..it's a good feeling.. it's my medicine every morning.. you all are here with me...

May your Adventures be Great ones and your Journey be Safe...

God Bless

Love the art today, Barb!!! and Yeap, I'm feeling alot better today.....guess I'll just have to instill a "bed-time" for me and get a "straight 8" hours sleep....today will be snack day cause we're all into the Rider's Cup Golf and NASCAR race......so the big meal will be Breakfast which I'm fixing..... :D nothing fancy.....french toast........Barb, Ernie keeps closing out the Windows Live Messenger so that maybe the problem......His feeling is, if he doesn't use it, it doesn't need to be on... :x .....I chat with my DIL on MySpace IM and I always have to open it to chat.....He says that having all those things open all the time slows the computer down..... So guess I'll have to open things when I'm online.....

Okay, I'm done.....going to do the shower thing and get cracking on breakfast.....Have a great day, all!!! :D

Ahhhhh, Sunday morning. Gooood morning to all. May your day be blessed with relaxation, love and enjoyment.

LOL Me? I got to go to work and Kelly too. But today is our late day. We don't have to be in until 12 noon. Although that means of course that we don't get out until 9pm tonight. But hey I did sleep in a little bit. I set the alarm for 8hrs and got all 8 for a change! Yay!!! Kelly is still in there counting sheep or what ever it is she does. Knowing her she probably kicked them sheep out cause their little hoofies were making to much noise. When we do finally get around we are meeting 3 of the other ladies from work for breakfast at Shoney's at 10am. We've been to Cracker Barrel a couple of times but decided to do a different restaurant today. Lots of good food and Kelly can get her fix of fruit.

Talk about laying out of work! I work 60 day collections, we normally have 10 people. But not yesterday, nope, only 5 of us showed up. And 90 day collection that I worked last month had 6 people show up. Yep the ones that didn't show will be getting a deviation on their records. The big boss for night shift gave a 'pep talk' this past week about people not showing up and that they really needed the night shift to step up and do some weekend overtime. Didn't work very well. I think that maybe 4 or five people from night shift dragged in between noon and 2pm. In a way I can't really blame them? But it sure makes it rough on everyone the closer we get to the end of the month. That's when they make overtime mandatory for everyone. They will want an extra 2hrs from everybody every single night during the week and 8hrs or more on the weekend. I know that there are people up there that end up with over 40hrs and more of overtime in the two week pay period. One girl is always bragging about how much overtime she works. Most of the time she will do 3-4hrs each night and work both Sat and Sun 8hrs each.

Well I suppose I should wander thru the sistahood and see what else is going on and being posted about. LOL But only after I have another cup of coffee and grab a couple of those banana blueberry muffins that Barb has been teasing me with before Beth and Lori get here!!! Mmmmmmmmm I think I'm in muffin heaven.

Have a great day everyone. Stay safe and enjoy.

Love to all

WHEW!!! Good thing Lori's more into cooking breakfast this morning or I would have had to fight her off those muffins. LOL

ahhhhhh good morning!
what a cute little fish there, and banana blueberry muffins sounds so tasty, and I'm
on my second cup of coffee already.
It should be a lovely day today, gonna be outside and enjoy a little fresh air for a
change. Will plan my budget, see what gets paid on this paycheck and what waits
till next time, hoping I have enough to go get the rubbermaid dresser I saw at
walmart, I really DO need it. Not much else is gonna happen today, except laundry.
Always laundry of course, and the dogs create more laundry than I do, mine is just
uniforms, socks and underwear, the dogs have sheets, blankets and towels, and
its odd 3 little dogs can dirty so much in a week. I am so loving this little wash
machine I bought, means I don't have to run to the laundry room all the time, except
for the big heavy stuff that gets washed seasonally. Ok, enough laundry talk, everyone
have a great day and enjoy some fresh air, like Barbz says "go fishin"

Mornin all. I'm afraid I don't have time for fishing this weekend...today is cut back the rest of the bushes in the front flower beds day. Yesterday I got the butterfly bushes tamed back. So, that's my plan...Olivia and I are going to work on her room a little this morning before her mom comes for her and then I'll start choppin again. Oh, and I have to get myself to the grocery store too cause I didn't do that yesterday...was too busy with other things!

Tonight or tomorrow night we have to make some Malasadas for Girl Scouts. Malasadas are a traditional Polynesian Donut. See, O's trying to earn her cookie badge and she needed a cookie from another country or region. She picked Hawaii! This was as close to a cookie that was traditional that we could get. Unless one of you ladies out there knows of a traditional hawaiian cookie and a little of the tradition behind it, we'll be frying malasadas!

Hope everyone has a great day. Happy Last Day of Summer.

I'm not doing ANY driving today at all! Pulled into this campground in San Diego about noon yesterday, paid for 16 days, and am going to settle down for a while before heading to Kansas. Drove out to my mom's yesterday afternoon and did a week's worth of laundry, played with her cat, and stuck some heavy stuff into her shed. My intention, way back in March, was to move back up to Portland, sell the RV, get a job, and find a place to live because it was getting too horribly expensive down here. Site rent was taking up almost all my small salary from working at the hotels on the beach and was going to double during the summer. So, I pulled all my not-needed-now-but-eventually stuff, like Christmas decorations and so forth, out of her shed, and have been carrying them around.

Well, Portland was nice, as usual, but I found out it was no longer home--kids moved to various parts of the country, my ex-DH's remarriage, and so forth. After living with ex-FIL and SIL, helping take care of FIL and their huge, over-stuffed house, this little RV started looking better and better. I finally moved out of the house and back into the RV, and lined up the Trinity Alps job, probably one of the smartest things I've ever done. It was an amazing three months up there this summer, the benefits and salary were good (and will be better next year), the scenery was fantastic, the hiking superb, and the guests almost all excellent and friendly. Since the lodge is a time share, everyone comes back each summer. With the exception of all the fires and smoke, it was a great summer. Adam and I both received excellent bonuses with our final paychecks, and that helped with the gas driving back down here. If I'm careful, it will also take care of the trip to Kansas later in October.

So, today I'm going to just kick back, read an actual Sunday paper for the first time in three months, and take it easy. My good friend Lou is coming over this afternoon and we'll probably go exploring somewhere, perhaps the desert. However, he'll drive! With the exception of our pretty crappy meeting in Tucson two months ago--he had just had a wisdom tooth pulled and was pretty much out of it--we haven't been together since the beginning of March. I even treated myself to a spa pedicure yesterday afternoon--after three months of wearing sandals in the dusty, rocky mountains, you can imagine what the old tootsies looked like.

Tiome to go take a shower, buy a paper, and have some banana bread, fresh strawberries, orange juice, and whatever else I can find for breakfast. I made the banana bread for lodge guests, and there was still some left over. Hope you all have a wonderful day!

Hi all,.... I'm late, I'm late for a very important date,..... coffee with all of you!

No excuse except lazy and distracted on this Sunday a.m. So not sure if I brought you up to date on my Saturday,.... was going to do laundry,...remember? Well, the washer went kabitz and over flowed,... it's finally bit the dust after "only" 14 years.

so off to Plattsburgh, about 40 miles north and bought a new washer and dryer. I haven't had a dryer in nearly three years. The timing was horrible,.. I need to get new tires and shocks on my vehicle, but mopping up that water just ticked me off so much I said brace yourself plastic, we're going! I'm not much to use a lot of plastic to pay for stuff, but I did this time.

My friend Kathy went with me and then she took my wet laundry back to her house to run through her laundry. What a great favor that was. So today is catch up on housework that I didn't get done yesterday,... and maybe eventually watch that movie that I didn't get to either.

Oh,... Zeee,.... do you have a knife to cut this chocolate Amish Friendship Bread I brought? (the kind that takes 10 days to make with that starter in the bag. )

OK,... back to work,.....
