Gas in Paris today = $2.32 - $0.10 for Kroger discount... $2.22! YIKES! That's quite a drop from a short while ago!

Just in case we have some wine'os out there, I have some Happy Camper Chardonnay and Cab. It is really a good wine, tho not fantastic. I stumbled (pardon the pun) on it in New Mexico and had difficulty finding it again. But I did locate some here in Austin at Spec's Liquor store, which is the size of a couple of Best Buy stores!!! :o I coulda been in there a longer time than I was. Will figure out vittles as we get closer. As of now, doesn't look like anything more than salads will be required. I think that Vickie and Mitch will be cooking up all the food in TN and LA for the AR ladies (and gents), Marslet will knock us all over with the AP, I'll throw a little wine on and Bethers will hand out the cornbread, and I don't remember what everyone else is pitching in! Sounds like a whale of a parti to me.

Wow, Karen, you signed on longer, AGAIN? I'm amazed. You are so easy, my friend. Well, maybe I shouldn't use that word, eh? And they are very lucky to have you.

For those Wednesday day trippers to the Springs - check this out

http://www.archive.org/details/watersofhotsprin00unit

Those of you who had not planned on going may want to change your mind. This may be the 'sea of life' even if it isn't the one of the '7 Cities of Gold'. I will admit the 1912 publish date is also of great interest. That was our tax dollars at work back then too - okay, it was out grandparent's tax dollars working - or did they even have taxes then????

On Edit:
This is even better information. http://www.archive.org/details/generalinformat00unit

Yes Beth...EASY is definitely the word. I feel like a Travel Nurse with "cement shoes". Too darn bad they are paying me sooooo well. I also get the stipend for staying in my MH and it is tax free...Makes my MH payment and space rent with some left over for the GAS fund. Its a hard gig to give up. But it too will come to an end one of these days. Then maybe I can hit some of these GTG's. I feel like I am missing all the fun.

And only one true Doofus.

Great minds will not be confused, however.
