Barbie...I stayed at an RV park in SD that had a pet raccoon. It lived in a huge caged in area behind the owner's house. I could sit in the mh and watch it from one of the windows. He had a little tree house type place with stairs! A night light would come on out there at night so I could see him come out and get some food and wash it in a little baby pool they had for him. They said they had some kids in the family in there with him and he is tame. Not sure I would trust that. He was huge! Funny what you said about the movie  Sounds like fun, but good luck getting into most parks! I guess you could and just walk them late at night. I think you would have to change your sleeping schedule, though, since they like to be up at night ;)

I would just "borrow" the wild ones for awhile  . One time I was up north camping and I was roasting marshmallows over the firepit, when a brave raccoon came up and started going after my marshmallows. He chased me all around the firepit as I threw marshmallows at him (probably not the best idea!). I finally threw the bag at him and ran into the tent. We kept all the food in the car that night and it had rained overnight. In the morning, my car was covered with muddy raccoon prints all over it! Pretty funny tho!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

That is a great visual, Barbie  I would worry that he had rabies! I was camping on a mountain in southern CA when I was much younger...in a tent...and these little squirrels came out in the morning when we were cooking our breakfast. I didn't know they liked bacon until we put the iron skillet on a stump to cool. The little guys were trying so hard to get those drippings and their little feet were dancing on the hot skillet :o It looked hilarious  like they were playing bongos or something!
