My homemade rug

Postby avalen » Sat Mar 06, 2010 10:07 am

Here it is, my first homemade rug, crochet and it certainly feels good
to my feet. I really enjoyed making this one, the yarn is a cotton/rayon,
very thick old time actually labeled "rug yarn". Now a days its labeled
chunky, haven't seen anything labeled rug yarn in years, but I do still
keep my eyes open when I'm in the yarn dept.

Looks good Ava. It'll keep your feet off the cold floor.

Good job, wish my plastic bag rug looked so neat. I have to learn how to keep the rows even. Very nice.

thank you, wait til you see the next one, its got everyone at work wanting one, when
I get it finished I'll post, right now I'm putting the fringe on and starting the identical
bigger area rug. Have the color schemes picked out for the next two projects, and...
it seems I have a buyer for a set from one of the ladies at work. Set is the small
entry rug with matching larger area rug. I'm so happy with myself :D
