Hi travel pals! yes, I was hoping to drop in for a couple days, BUT that was before I realized that Easter is the 4th! I hope you understand that my whole reason for being in TX is to be with my DGD and I can't miss Easter!!! That means I will be in Austin on Sunday. Then, friend from CA is arriving on Wed the 7th. If all is good and quiet in my life on Monday and Tuesday, I MIGHT drive over for one night, but please don't count on me as this is a really big IF!!!! Hope it's a beautiful week on the gulf coast! Have a great time!!!!

Aw, Sharon, wish I was seeing you again also. And there is an rv park right off the beach - Karen stayed at it last year. Just go stay with them a night to dump and fill tanks - and I bet you could go a few days without - ask Liz - she and Carol did wonderfully in AK. You just can't take too many showers

Have fun - and yep, we'll meet up again - hopefully sooner rather than later - but whatever it ends up being, it's all good.

There's also a free dump station near there at Love's 1509 East Rose St. at Hwy 59 & Milby Rd. Lat. 28.5834, Long. -96.3845 in Edna, according to a dump station website.

OK, need to know dates!!!! Liz, when will you be arriving? I need to leave Kerrville the 14th of March for Silver City and I need a few days in Kerrville to finish up stuff before leaving for six months which means I need to be back no later than April 11th (Sun). Are we gonna be there Easter weekend? Or the next weekend? Who all is coming when? ??????

Liz, Edna is about 40+- miles from Magnolia Beach, I'd think yall would probably find a place to dump closer than that. The City of Port Lavaca used to have a RV dump site, but I can't get the web site to come up.

If anyone is in the area early enough and interested in a little sightseeing trip, I'd suggest the re-enactment at Presidio La Bahia in Goliad Texas on March 27 & 28. http://www.presidiolabahia.org/ I've been and really enjoyed it.

Liz and anyone else coming through my area, pm me and let me know the dates. If you don't believe what Mitch says about me and want to meet me or stay overnight in my driveway, we can work out the details.

Surely you made a typo when you said that you need to head to Silver City on the 14th MARCH!

My plan is to caravan down thru Goliad and get to Magnolia Beach on Thursday the 1st of April.

I read somewhere that there was a public dump at the fire station in Port Lavaca. I'll need to go find where I got that information.

Oops, typo, I need to leave Kerrville APRIL 14th not March. I've got Sprinter coming down Easter weekend so really need to know which weekend we're talking about. I'm confused (as usual).

Yep, we are talking Easter Weekend, the first weekend in April. Staying until ???? - each to his own time. I will probably leave on the 8th or 9th.

I am hoping that Jo, Jane and Vicki A can make it down, too. If only for a couple of days - that would be awesome!
