Thoughts on PA GTG 2010!!

Well I'm not Vickie, but I'm gonna take a wild guess that it's "Yahoo 360" or Google maps. Thought Kelly was nuts one day while we were going down the road in the Blazer? She had her phone in her hand and stuck it out the window, stretched as far as she could and took a picture??? She then some how ? googled ? checked ? and she told me where we were at just from taking that picture. At one time I did have internet access activated on the phones. But we have also seen vehicles going down the highway with little digital cameras mounted on their roofs. First time she saw one she got all excited.

I know what you mean Echo, I was sitting at the kitchen table one day and saw a suburban driving down the road slow, taking pictures, later I figured out what they were doing it for.

....and did I mention that the stream wandering next to those camp sites is very tranquil and just right! Even though the sites appear as if they are near the road....I didn't notice any traffic and it was very quiet.

Depending on what dates you all decide upon, I will be there. It is just that my gd is going to Iowa to stay with her dad this summer and I'm not sure if I will slowly return home or just meander around. Will take her out there the end of June/beginning of July after she gets out of school. Not sure if I will stop back by and pick her up or send her home via airplane. Probably will go back and pick her up as air travel is getting pretty scary as far as I am concerned. Since school starts the end of August, I'll have to retrieve her before then.

Short answer is YES, I'd be there in a heartbeat if I can make the date.

Those google street maps are fun as it gives you a sense of what it looks like around the area you are going to. As a woman I'm more visual in learning my way.

Lori, count me in. I will be camping Sept 23-26 but haven't made any other plans.
