SATURDAY MORNING

Molly at home in the new 'Super Tent' camper! My backjack is on the floor so she can be seen in the picture. When it's on the bed, it makes the comfiest seat imaginable!

HAPPY SATURDAY!

My thermometer says it's 26 out there, but it feels like it's above freezing to me. My plan for today is get out of here as early as possible to pick up my trailer and haul it home to park it for the winter in its shelter. Rain is heading our way, but rain will be ok---just do not want any freezing stuff on the roads today.

It was warm enough for Molly and me to get into the new truck cap/camp with music playing on my battery-powered speakers for my MP3 player, some spiked egg nog, a comfy thing I bought years ago for sitting on bleachers watching my kids' games called a 'backjack' which just fits on the end of my bed making a very comfy seat! I also discovered I have a booming drum now, should I ever want one, when I bang on the inside ceiling of my new cap! What a fun noise that makes!

It looks as if VA and the Carolinas can finally begin to dry out a bit from Ida's visit---Ida who morphed into a whopper of a Nor'easter storm! Imagine if it had been cold enough for all that to have been snow! I hope you all have power back now, or soon will. The tail end of some rain leftover from that will be with us today, but most of the storm is headed out to sea.

Time for some warm coffee, to get dressed, to move the Kicker out of the way of the shelter, and head for the big city. Will see you all later.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

good morning
up early on a saturday, would have liked to sleep in but it was a tad cold and I had
to get up to turn the heater on. Then of course, once your up the critters stir and
thats all she wrote, might as well stay up.
Today will be a big laundry day, since I cleaned the other day I have lots of extra
to do, rugs, linens, curtains, plus the normal uniform shirts and essentials.
Then of course its time to pay the bills and do the grocery shopping.
It is suppose to be in the 70's today, just might get out there and rake the yard
as well.
Can't wait to read about the 911 call.
Have a great day and be safe.

Morning,
Woke up to the neighborhood owl hooting. Sounded like it was still Halloween time.
I looked out and almost all the hail we got last evening is still on the ground so I know it's fairly cold out there. Yep, it hailed marble sized hail until the ground was covered. It melted off the sidewalks and streets, but the grassy/dirt areas are still white. We tend to get lots of small hail here in the NW. Mountain passes were getting snow, 1" an hour yesterday! I think winter has officially arrived for the higher levels.
Nothing planned for today. Yesterday my DDs MIL phoned to tell me about a dice game called Farkle that she plays on Facebook and as I love games I checked it out and before I knew it an hour had passed! Very addictive! I saw the Farm ones that Jenny and a few others are playing but decided to pass. I don't need more added. I'd never get off this thing!
That's my day. Glad to see you are enjoying that new truck topper, Soos! lol
Have a great day, ladies!

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!!!! :D

Gonna be a beautiful day weather wise here today. Suppose to be up in the 70's today, dew is burning off and sending rolling clouds of steam off the roofs of the house and cars outside. Sun is shining big time out there.

Not sure what we will do today? Kinda depends on what time Jenny gets around and out of the bedroom. Don't know if she's sleeping all that time or not? But she doesn't come out until about noon. Usually she comes out and putters then her Mom shows up, they pack Conner up and leave. They don't come home until after 7 or 8 pm. Yesterday her best friend showed up and they took off around 2pm and were gone all day until about 9pm I guess it was? Makes for a quiet day. Did get to hold Conner for about 15 minutes yesterday before the friend showed up tho.

Gonna have some toast and peanut butter for breakfast this morn. Have got my coffee pot right here on the table next to my right elbow! ;) Dang carafe leaks out of the bottom of the band around the top of the pot. :x I don't think there is any fix to it??? Really pisses me off! :x I thought it was just dribbling from the edge of the pour spout? But NOOOOO.......... don't have the receipt so don't think I can take the blasted thing back. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr

Ok enough yakking here, got some reading to do on other posts. Hope everyone has a great day, stay safe, warm, cool or dry which ever the need might be!

Love to all

Love the way Molly is guarding your beautiful new truck/camper! When my two doggies are in the MH and we are outside, they are both standing guard at the top of the steps. People have even stopped to take pictures - pretty cute.
