Today is Friday!

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Today is Friday!

Gosh, where is everyone?
I'm up early this morning but I am in the west so thought someone would have set Barbzeee's table.
Ok, I'll get it all set for but I'm new at this. I have coffee and fresh fruit along with muffins and cereal.
Later today we are to get a downpour. Up to 4 in in some areas. Yesterday is was near 60 but very humid and still. I worked up a sweat just walking my dog.
Last night my friend that workcamped at Yellowstone this summer, stopped by on her way back to CA. She and I are getting together today so she can go see Little Missy.
Not much else going on for today.
Hope everyone is staying dry(er), or keeping cool(er) in whatever the situation is in your areas!

Alrighty then! I've had my breakfast, Eggstirs omelet with broccoli slaw and a little cheddar cheese inside. Sounds yucky, I know, but is really quite good and hopefully nutritious as well. Sometimes I use chopped fresh spinach instead of the broccoli. Want some?

It's raining today, but that's ok...it's bringing the cold front that will send our temperatures into the low 70's for the weekend. Should be beautiful. we have a church clean-up day tomorrow, so glad it won't be hot. Next weekend is a big festival in McIntosh, 1890 Days, when thousands of people descend on the little town and historical buildings like our church are open for viewing. I'll have to work that day too. After that, if the rv is a-ok with new reefer, I'll be camping again somewhere nearby.

Speaking of camping...there's a FL gtg in the works for January 7-12th time frame, hint, hint for all you people wintering in or planning trips to FL...mark your calendars. I'll post details in the GTG thread.

Have a great day, everyone.

Morning all,

Well I have been having off and on computer issues and if finally froze up last night. I am using the kids computer.
It is old and runs slow...but hey at this point it works.

We are off for camping and football this weekend. DS has a out of town game in Oak Harbor on Whidbey Island. We love to camp at the Navy Base there. So we figured we get one more camping trip in for the season. Then the trailer will be winterized til spring.

It has been a busy week, school, sports, plays we went to two this week You're a Good Man Charlie Brown and Faith County.
DD also auditioned for Willie Wonka but did not get a call back. So this week she auditioned for a Christmas Play called "Stocking Stuffers" She did get called back...actually everyone did and they are still short people, so are spending this next week trying to get more people.

That is about it for now. I need to run to the store and then come home and call the computer repairman.

IM here, ,just watching the fellow trim m&d's oak trees out front. WOW what a bunch of brush! But lots of oak firewood for the winter!

It's cool here in central tx this morning, but will warm up to mid 70's later ,, and probably cool down by dark. Typical fall weather for Texas.. we don't get freezing temps til way into November or Dec. Ya spose that's why lots of ppl winter here!?>

HA!

Have a great Friday girls

GOOD MORNING SISTAHS!!! Well it's not to far past morning here at any rate! And I'm still slurping coffee, does that count?

Went to town yesterday an extra trip for us. Our vacuum cleaner sheet the bed on us. Kelly wanted to get a cordless one that the handle folded down on. I wasn't crazy about the idea of cordless so talked her into to getting one just like the one we had. That little vacuum has lasted quite a while and it's been put thru some rough paces. The old one was yellow and the new one is a pretty turquoise blue. And we went for Chinese lunch buffet. I pigged out! :o

We are still looking for jobs of course, nothing yet. We also stopped and checked out a small camp ground/RV park to stay in until we find an apt. What a pitiful excuse for a camp ground! :? It only has maybe 15 sites and s either all sand or dirt. Oh and gravel. Sheesh! I asked Kelly, "Can you imagine sitting there in the screenhouse trying to eat when the wind kicks up?" Holy smokes talk about adding roughage to your diet. Be crunchy for sure.

Have been waiting for some money to be returned to my checking account since Tuesday. It finally hit today so my checking account is now in the black again. Now to call the bank and have 2 $35 overdraft fees refunded. And my account will look even better. ;) Whew!

Well my section of cabins have been shut down for the season. Beth got the job of striping them today. Now the job of doing whatever clean is left so that they are ready for next year. Of course they will have to be cleaned and dusted all over again in May to set them up again. But they shut down 24 rooms today. They have 9 still open, 4 of them are left open all winter. 1 of them will have an occupant all winter as Alienrox stays here and the other 3 will be used for cross country skiers, rangers that might need them for a night or even the owners families for visits. During the winter the owners park their 4 wheel drive pickup truck out at the end of the road which is 25mls away. And then they use their snowmobiles for transportation back and forth from the house to the truck. Chris said that at one point there was 22' of snow on the ground up here. He77 instead of them living in the mobile home they just need to build great big igloos to live in!!! I would like to see that much snow cause I sure can't imagine it!   Bet they don't have to worry about a white Christmas up here!

As today is our day off too we have chores to do. Kelly has a monster mountain of laundry to do. I have dishes, housework and I need to roll up some camping stuff now that we have things moved around and cleaned up and have living room floor space to work. Plus I have sewing projects that I really have to get started and done. One is a baby bunting for my grandson to be. Jenny is due the end of the month. Spoke to David and he said she's been having false labor. They go for an ultrasound this coming Wednesday. I guess the doctor mentioned that he might possibly induce her as "Conner" has dropped all the way and is ready. Oh boy, hope them kids are ready for parenthood! To late now to change their minds.

Ok, time to get back to the house and get my butt to work. And Kelly can get started on laundry. Ya'll take care and enjoy the day!!!

Love to all
