Geez, I'm up early here..... and the A/C is going already in the 5er.....It's to be another hot and humid day.....Ernie's loving it, but I've never been a fan of be "wilted" all day with humidity....hopefully, the weather will soon cool off some.....like warm/hot, but not the humidity..... The weather man says a high of 85 with 90% humidity....

We got "NASCAR & Football Sunday" on the adjenda for the campground today....hooking up the DirecTV outside for all to enjoy with them bringing snacks to share and their favorite beverages....should be fun.... ;)

Okay, got to get my butt in gear....new guy starting at the office today and I have the key for him to get into the office. ;)

Have a great day, all..........

Morning Lori and All.... been having the genny run all night long too...like the warmth but uh oh on the humidity...thought for sure that rain would have cooled things off a bit...but OH NO ! Any how..we're getting our showers and gonna fix a quick breakfast...tap off the fuel tank and then head on down to Wildwood...

It's only a little over a 4 hour drive and anticipation is taking over..(already) can't wait to pull in and then.. the Unload..omg..don't cha just wish you could click a button and zoom it be done ...aaaaaah wishful thinking..

Robert only has a few days with me and then I've got to take him to the Airport..another adventure..will miss him..but we talk several times a day..(almost like going back to the dating stage) any way.. we'll plan for his return trip as we set up our calendars...LOL...

Again.. those who can't always get to Make the Big GTG's at least see if you can meet for lunch or dinner..it's a neat feeling..

Now remember any of you that happen to be either passing by or spending some time in the area..give a shout..cause I'd certainly enjoy meeting you all...

God Bless...

Zeee

Good Morning everyone!

Looks like it will be a fair day here. Later this a.m. my camping buddy Kathy and I will take my 6th grader grandson to Plattsburgh to shop. He recently had a birthday and he wants to unload some of that money he got. He saves first, which is neat. In fact he already owns his own 4-wheeler, and two garden tractors! He's a worker, that boy! But I just know that he's going to want a movie or two with some of that gift money. We'll also take him out to lunch. I'm sure by next hear when he hits junior high he might not be as interested in a day out with grandma!

So it's off to the kitchen to fix some b'fast and do some laundry, and then get ready to "go to town!" :D

Have a great day everyone!

Good Morning All - it's our 2nd - count 'em 2 days - of sunshine and a bit nippy out. I LOVE IT. Bill has turned the heater on, as soon as he gets busy I'm shutting it off. We're having company for dinner today and he's cooking. So soon he'll start in on his real Italian spaghetti sauce. Will make enough so we can freeze a bunch to take with us this winter.
A couple of months ago we were both fed up with living in the back woods and we put the house up for sale (right after the painting but before the roofing) Priced it quite high so haven't had any lookers - but realtor called yesterday he is bringing someone by today - EGAD! We'd forgot it was even still on the market. But we won't negotiate so .......We'll be a couple surprized puppies if they want it. Gulp.
Should be interesting day. Colors are getting real pretty out. Tomorrow if sunny we are going to drive up through the park and enjoy.

Carol, I can't imagine anyone NOT wanting your house,... it looks so attractive and in such a nice setting. May it all turn out just as you want it to! :D

Good Morning all. Zee and Lori I can relate to the humidity. I gladly put the heat on last night, just to take the chill off. What a nice change from the heat of summer. :D I was cleaning the carpets yesterday and will finish up today. I'm stiff this AM, but another round of using the carpet machine hopefully will help that. Friday night/Saturday morning my 15 yr old puppy couldn't hold it (twice) so the machine is getting a good workout. I'm doing the rest of the carpet today so all the carpet is clean. I'm sleeping with one ear listening, instead of the one eye open, for any restless movement during the night. I will keep an eye on her hoping it was just an accident and not signs of something else. Best get busy before I lose interest in this cleaning thing. Have a good rest of the day. Linda

good morning everybody
well, as expected it was a late night working. The band did great in the competition,
but had one get sick on the way down. Directed the teacher to the "body fluid clean up
kit" as I was pulling off the freeway. When she got done I asked her if it was bad and
she said, "no, its ok, its all taken care of" and she threw the red biohazard bag in
the trash. When the evening was finished and I did the last check of the bus, what
do I find but the biggest mess of vomit I've ever seen! She didn't even clean it up like
she told me, so one of the chaperones who happened to be an emt got busy with a
broom and dustpan and helped me clean it up, got another red bag out, filled that up and I will go in Monday and mop the floor with some soapy bleach water. It doesn't
bother me the kid got sick, it happens, but what bothered me was the teacher saying
she took care of it. Had I have known I could have cleaned it up during the performance.
Instead there were kids coming in and out, changing clothes, tracking through it and
spreading germs everywhere. Guess I've vented enough now about that incident and
can move on.
Today will be filled with a little yard work and a little housework, thats it.
Have a great day and be safe.

Morning! Coffee tastes wonderful this morning It's 26* here...we had a skiff of snow on Friday night. Way too early for this %^&*! The forecast says it won't be over 46 until Thursday! Needless to say the growing season is over...just hope it warms up enough that I can get out and clean out some of the flower pots and beds before we get a heavy snow. Weather certainly has been unusual this year. 5er is winterized and yesterday I did go out and take out anything that will freeze..that's always a depressing task. Today I'm going to go to a antique auction with a friend and will need to stop somewhere and buy some De-Con (no Soos I'm not a catch and release girl!) just in case we have some visitors move in. So you all have a nice day!
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

Y'all may be steamy humid hot in the southland but in the Northern/eastern slope of the Rockies... we are into the teens on the second leg of an artic front. I'm not complaining, in fact it feels nice, so much better than heat to me. Yesterday as the highs touched the mid-20's we got on the ATVs and headed out to check cattle, fences, etc. It was so much fun romping around in the snow we took a long ride down the road! Our dog who is part Husky &/or some other snow dog....is out rolling in our new powder and running around like a wee puppy! Anyways it's colder here than normal more like December temps. The 1st shot of the storm netted us about 3 inches then last night about mid-night we started into another storm and have about 3 more with snow still coming down. We are just thankful that it's a very dry snow so the trees, which still have thier mostly green leaves have not collected enough to bring down branches. Now that the leaves have had a very hard freeze they are curling up and falling about as fast as the snow.

We'll have a break in the weather tomorrow then get another front through Tuesday and Wednesday, have a second one or two day break then next weekend it looks like it's "on" again!

So with the onset of an early winter -- will we be snowbirding outa here? Actually- no! We may skip out down to Key West when the temps down there moderate a bit. The 90's aren't our thing so we'll wait until January to head out if we can get the coach out of the barn yard and down the road.

We have enough crafts to keep us busy and card playing friends so...we are content right here!

Enjoy fall, those that have it -- those still in summer -- I feel for ya! Head into our region if you want to cool of -- it feels wonderful!

Morning is almost gone and I'm still not moving. Played lazy yesterday; cannot do that again today.
It is not raining yet but overnight forecast is for another inch or so of rain, no severe weather, just a lot of water we do not need at present. Did notice this morning that there are a few sprouts of grass showing where I seeded a couple of weeks ago. No where near as much as there should be but I'll take any as a good sign. Trying to slow the erosion on this hill is a real challenge.
Have got to go out to look for a birthday present for a luncheon tomorrow. I'm not much on shopping but did go to one of the malls yesterday. No luck in finding what I need other than a card.
Also will go by a couple of the antique malls to dust and pay rent. Going thru mail and paying bills also on todays agenda.
No wonder I'm moving slow today - no fun things on schedule. Sounds like I need to rework plan.
Hope you have a good day with some fun activities.
