Good Monday morning All

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Good Monday morning All

Well,
Guess I am first this morning. Would like to send all of you a good morning from wet and soggy Baton Rouge. Boy have we had some rain the last two days. But before the rain, we had two lovely fall like days with cool temps, bluebird skies, and soft breezes.
Got the coffee perking, water boiling for the Earl Gray, and bagels toasting to be covered with strawberry cream cheese, or salmon flavored cream cheese yum, yum.
Hope your day is memorable and all of you that go to work, have a safe trip.

Morning...back at work. But, the good news is that the room is painted. Of course today I'll have to see how well it turned out and pull the tape off the baseboard. Luckily it covered in one coat (I think).

Thanks for the tea Marslet...appreciate it. I'm gonna have me some cream of wheat.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning all from the cool and should be a sunny day PNW.
Our weekend was busy with football and homecoming and some household chores and such.
DS team won their game they are now 5-0. They have 3 more regular season games left..then it is playoff time.

DD went to homecoming dance with a friends. She said there were a lot of freshman girls and only about 10 freshman boys. That will soon all change..LOL
I will have to post her pictures. She took them herself as Saturday night was hectic..so we have only a couple closer ups. One of the other mom's took group pictures of the girls also. I believe will be sending copies out. I will have to load some up into photo whatever and show them.

I showed it to DH and teased him..he needed to get the shotgun ready. He was like she can't date until she is 16. I know...but that is only 6 months away.
He said no it is next year...I said yes...2010 will arrive in a 3 months. Then he was like..isn't it 18 when she can date. I actually think he has a harder time with the kids growing up then I do. I think it is in part because I am with them so much and he is at work and has missed a lot, especially in they early years when he was active duty and gone way more then he is now.

These bagels with the salmon cream cheese are wonderful.

As far as I know Ali and Ron headed out yesterday..for their now shorter version and new route on their trip. I can not wait to see the Bryce Canyon with the fall pictures.

Well the dogs are barking..I better go let them back in.

Thanks for the coffee and the goodies....better get the umbrella and see if the dryer's finished....

Have a great day, all..............

Morning (still mid-morning here)!
Had a rough evening as I thougth I was getting a good cold. My sinuses were jamming and throat felt scratchy. At 5pm I was in my jammies and making some hot tea. I really wanted to light some candles (just felt like it), but I put my one and only lighter in Little Missy and own no matches. I called my neighbor and asked if she had any matches and she brought me a Zippo and a bowl of soup. That was so sweet of her. I sure have great neighbors!
This morning I feel stuffed up but otherwise ok. I think my body is really fighting this one.
Very fall-like day here. I love fall! No rain predicted for the rest of the week so I'll be able to get out and enjoy my walks. I'm a fair weather walker.
Hugs, ladies!! Stay safe.

Good afternoon ladies. I have been busy this AM with taking boxes of junk to the curb for the trash pick up. I didn't realize that I was hoarding boxes (from toaster ovens, fans, closet organizers, etc.) I keep them to make sure the appliance is working properly and then am supposed to throw them out. Well I've been letting them stay in the garage. I took about half to the curb today and the rest will go on thursday. What a difference. I will have my garage back, maybe even park the truck inside this winter. Next chore will be flower bed cleanup and weeding and putting mulch down, which also gets junk out of the garage. That's it from this end.

All those attending the GTG in TN, drive safely in the rainy weather. Sending dry weather vibes your way. The rest of you ladies stay safe. Linda

HELLO SISTAHS!!!!

Good grief where the heck did fall go? Nightly temps have been running in the high 20's and lower, wind has been blowing like crazy, BRRR! I think I am regretting getting rid of my heavy winter coat. When Kelly and I go to town this week on Thursday I just might go to the thrift store and see what I can find for the both of us. My light fleece jacket and blankies are good to go for being outside at home in the morning or at night while Shade is doing her business but can't dress up like that all the time. ;) I'm glad that even tho I got rid of my winter snow boots that I at least still have 2 pair of thinsulate hiking boots that I can wear. LOL Spell checker doesn't like the word 'thinsulate', it keeps telling me it's spelled wrong. ? Hmmmm, it might be thinliate? HA! it doesn't like that either. Reminds me of that joke that goes around about the spell checker!

I can't believe how fast the season has went by. And September seems like it was gone in a blink of an eye. When I was younger time seemed to just drag. Whenever I would wish for a diff day, weekend, month or year? My Dad would tell me, "Don't wish your time away honey, it will go to fast when you get older, cause the older you get the faster time flies". Boy was he right!!! :(

Just stepped outside and there are at least 4 deer out back behind the linen shed. Just wandering around browsing. Must be something extra yummy out there or else they would be out in the fields.

Ok gals, it's time for us'ins to get out butts home, we're hungry!!! And I know Shade misses us!

Love to all
