Aspen Gold

We (Beth and I) had heard that a cold spell was coming in on Wednesday. We were afraid if we waited too long the leaves would turn black or blow off the trees. Beth was off on Tuesday and I didn't start until 2.00pm so we took off looking at the Aspens.

I took a pic of Beth taking a pic.

This is what she was photographing.

Belle went along for the ride and said she wanted to see the leaves up close. She said it made her feel like a bird!

I've been taking lots of Aspen pics - but todays are all still on my camera. One day, when I get caught up on Alaska, these pics will come off and I'll share some of mine, too. I particularly like where the colors are mingled, the greens, yellows, etc - The aspens really are gorgeous.

Beautiful pictures. Looks allot like Alaska when whole mountainsides would be so bright it'd hurt your eyes! Thanks for sharing.

Do I dare ask for an explanation of this????

GREAT pics, Sparkle, and Beth! Our leaves are fading fast here in the upper Adirondacks.

Gorgeous pictures. It's still a goal of mine to be out west at the right time to see them. Thanks for posting them. Good to see Belle enjoying herself again.
