Good Morning Everyone!

After having to "run the roads" yesterday with dump run and then off to Plattsburgh for groceries and supplies I was exhaused yesterday evening. Today will be another load of wash,... iron clothes needing pants creases, etc. for work this week and mow some high grass in front of deck that I've been ignoring for way too long. Right now it's foggy so I'm sure when that burns off we'll have a nice day.

Sounds like the gang at the GTG in PA are running around sightseeing and having a wonderful time.

If I finish all my chores with time to spare maybe I'll watch a movie, my latest Netflix ones arrived Friday. Here's hoping that everyone has a wonderful day today!

Morning all from busy NC. We are overnight sitting the GKs. Parents went for an overnight out yesterday am and here we are with our 6 GK's. Sure is a lot busier than just with the 2 of us  The oldest 4 can take care of themselves and are wonderful with the two youngest-ages 2-15 with the 7th due in March  The 2 youngest are being potty-trained, so that's a lot of fun  If the weather gets a little better, we wanted to take them to the lake to swim, but right now it's very overcast and good possibility of rain. Ok, off to be grandma. Need that coffee   Glad to see the PA GTG is off and running. Have a good day all. carold

Good morning to all once again! It was 27 degrees F. when I got in here this morning from the trailer. I snapped some pics of my back fields at sunrise, which I will attempt to post again!

Image
Back field at sunrise. The white is heavy frost on the tall field grass.

Image
Another of the back field. The mist is over my pond where my leanto is.

My one lone red maple out in the field with all the evergreens!

Frosty plant.

I spent most of yesterday in the 'city', getting groceries and looking at other trailers at my RV dealership! Just looking for now, but WOW....they have one in the showroom that I really love---A Palomino Gazelle! Lighter than mine even with one slide! Best layout I have ever seen for a TT. I will drop my trailer off in a couple of weeks for them to install a removable electric cord hookup so I don't have to stuff it into that hole where it gets tangled up any more----and they will winterize it while it's there, too. I will at least blow out the water today and open up the water heater, as I am afraid these cold nights can do some damage. Inside, where the water pump is, probably will be ok for a bit yet.

I also found some nicer border strips to cover over the ones I don't like inside the trailer on the walls. Guess I thought there was a ton of it to cover, as I bought three packs of the stuff, and I don't think I will even use all of one! I am changing to sunflowers rather than hideous blue swirlies!

Coffee is pumpkin spice today (ACK!) for those of you willing to try it! I gave in at Price Chopper and bought some to try.....it can stay here until it rots, as far as I am concerned! I also got some almond-flavored creamer, which is actually good.

Connie must be nearly at her destination now, and Carol is taking care of grandkids, and may go to an RV show if she can get herself moving! I am contemplating maybe going with Cedar to one more campout where we went earlier in the season, if the weather for Columbus Day weekend looks ok. Then I can drop my trailer off at the dealers to get the work done before I come back here.

It sounds as if the PA GTG is underway and a bunch of fun going on there!

Have a fun Sunday, and be careful on the roads!

(P.S.-----I FIXED MY PICTURE SIZE SETTINGS ON PHOTOSHOP!!!!!! It must be they changed when I paid to become a pro member.) All is well once again-----when in doubt, read the instructions!

Good Morning All - or should I say Good Afternoon - I know its already noon for most of you. Only 8 a.m. here but the air conditioner is running already. Last nite when we were coming home from Frys (my favorite store) it was 105 out and dusk.
We will be leaving for home tomorrow after getting Jennies fluids changed. Speaking of Nashville. There was a tragedy there last night - the Little Nashville Opry burned down. Its been there for years. We saw George Jones and Randy Travis there last year and were going to see Loretta Lynn in November......... http://www.browncountyindiana.com/2009/09/little-opry-on-fire.html Sure hope they will be able to rebuild. It b rought a lot of people to the area every summer.
Today we're going to "do the Strip" If my toe holds out and the heat isn't too bad.
Later

good morning ladies
it was really nice this morning when I woke up, (7:00) lots of dew on the grass too.
So I sat outside having my coffee and kept throwing the ball for the big dogs.
Home again to take care of my own, get a shower, do a few chores and then I'll go
back to spend a few hours again, not sure when they will be home, I'm thinking
around late afternoon. Although the money is good, I feel guilty leaving my own
for so long at a time, and this helps pay off my debt to my daughter for the a/c.
These are the biggest labradors I've ever seen, and way overweight, she has them
on a special diet, loaded up with veggies, mostly broccoli (dog farts) but very
nice and well mannered dogs.
Time for more coffee and a little toast, and I'll catch up on new posts. Have a
great day and be safe. Loved the pictures Soos, can't believe you have frost
already, but it is what it is in other parts of the country.

Morning!
Cedar, thanks for posting for Laura. Wow, she is on the move!
Soos, I'm excited that you got to go look at new TTs! After scouring newspaper ads and the internet for over a year, I had to make a big adjustment in my life as I didn't realize just how much time I was spending doing that! And after my first outing I can attest to the struggle in getting the electrical cord back into that tiny little spot! What were they thinking!? :o
I also have a small PVC looking piece of pipe to 'supposedly' stuff the sewer hose back into. Right! If the hose was only 5 ft long stretched out and 16" telescoped!! So now I'm putting it in a outside bin where it fits, but it needs to be in something to stop the bin from getting wet. And of course the bin isn't any normal size so I could find a plastic bin to fit!
Love our AM pictures!! Just gorgeous! I have been seeing my breath here the past few mornings. Today I'll put my patio furniture away. I suppose we'll get a few days of nice weather, but I know our rains will start soon so I want to get it stowed while it's dry.
Ok, oatmeal time!

Good morning ladies!!
Soos - Loved your morning pix. What beautiful scenery you have. BUT, it looks kind of cold. Although, I live in CA and it is foggy and very overcast this AM. Hopefully, the sun will shine in a few hours???

Hello Sistahs!!!!

Yeah I know it's not morning. But if'n ya notice I didn't say Morning!!! ;)

Still looking for work but not having much luck. Kelly and I are seriously thinking that we might end up wintering over in Fredonia, the closest small town to here. The rent is really reasonable there so we shall see what happens. ~sigh~

Just thought I would drop in quick like and say "HI". I need to get my butt up to the 'house' and finish putting supper together. Kelly said she was starved and I'm just about there too.

I see we have gained some more newbies. YAY!!! Welcome to the new Sistahs!!!!

Well I have got to get the butt in gear and get home. I sure do miss getting my daily fix of what goes on here.

Much love to all

Echo is still alive and well! Glad to see a post from you lady. How cold does it get in Fredonia? You have wheels on your vehicle...I'd be finding warmer! LOL

No, Cedar isn't talking Fredonia ...anywhere!

That's Echo thinking she'll stay close to where she's working now. Although here in NY we also have a Fredonia. I'm happy staying put here in the north country of NY,... not far south of Montreal, PQ. Canada. But I will bet that after my granddaughter graduates from high school and is no longer playing sports you will find me enjoying warmer weather in the winters1 :D

Oliveoil,

I sure as heck did not take it that Cedar was making fun of you! :?: :?:
She put the laughie face in her post to show she was laughing at herself for not being anywhere.
It was ECHO who mentioned Fredonia, not Cedar.

PS: Have you ever known Cedar to make fun of ANYONE? I don't think I have.
Or anyone making fun on this forum, for that matter, except maybe me and Vickie!!
