FRIDAY AND PAYDAY AT LAST!!!!!

GOOD MORNING TO ALL!!

it's only 35 ouside! No frost that I felt coming in anywhere, which is good. One mouse in one trap this morning----the total, including the one I found yesterday afternoon after school, is now 28 mice! Good grief, enough!

We have a sub for our room at school today, so heaven only knows how the day will go! Our kids have it hard enough trying to keep organized and on good behavior with the 'normal' routine being followed. On the plus side, for me, anyway----it's pay day and jeans-wearing day!! YIPPEE!!! And, of course, best of all, it's FRIDAY!

Coffee is hot and good, and, as others have said once or twice, sure does feel good on my hands when I hold my cup! Here's hoping you all have a great day, and that you can find some time to sit down and let us know about it.

Whatever you can manage to share with us is fine, of course, but we sure would love to hear from you all. Pull up a chair, let Molly put her head in your lap, and I'll pour you a cup of coffee! It's hot, strong, and Hazlenut with vanilla creamer----or you can bring your own and share this table!

Wow,.. didn't realize it had been several days since I'd posted in the morning! I started back to work on Tuesday and my body basically went comatose from fatigue! But I've survived and am settling into this year's routine. I do love my job so it was just a physical thing ... ya know,... being old! I fell into bed at 8 p.m. again last night.

So, I'm up, showered and headed to the kitchen for b'fast then out the door to school.

Besides my little trek in Little Missy yesterday and a meeting with my finance guy, I did get the back yard mowed. It was up past my ankles. Today, the front yard and possibly a trip for a few groceries.

Our weather is still goofy. Today and tomorrow we might break heat records as it's suppose to be in the 90s. Even above normal on the coast. What I find so different with our weather this year is the humidity. I feel like I'm back in the mid-west.

Well, I need a refill. Coffee tastes good this morning with chocolate/raspberry Coffeemate! I don't eat right away but in a bit I'll have my oatmeal. There's more if anyone wants some! Have a great day!

Yes, this is certainly a day to remember and be thankful. The sun has come out this morning after a night of drizzle (although the clouds have far from disappeared), TGM is making breakfast-maybe I should call it brunch-and we will be off to visit friends who stay at Beech Mountain in the summer to get away from the FL heat and humidity. Quite a few of their friends from Miami come here also. I used to babysit for their kids when they lived next door to us and some of the people from our neighborhood also come. Hope everyone has a good day. Boy Soos, a sub so early in the year. The kids really do need that consistency, especially when the new year is just beginning-looks like you'll be a welcome asset to that classroom. Time to get my ***** in gear. Hasta la vista. carold

Good morning Ladies:

I had a rough night - was up for three hours in the night and then up bright and early this morning but I have been productive - started cleaning the bathroom, bleaching the toilet - ugh! went for a 15 minute walk ~ want to work up to 30 minutes by the end of next week, had my quiet time with the Lord - brought to mind the issue of being honest with God and self! and then had a nice bowl of cereal and am now catching up on the internet. My goal for the weekend is to get my meals planned for the next two weeks and then do some good grocery shopping - need to eat healthy and get on track before we head out the door on our trip.

Ali, you sound like good people! I feel so much better since I took control over my health. I've lost 35 lbs since last Dec 5th and have kept it off. I have changed my eating habits allot and so far I've not waffled far in snacking on junk food. (my down fall).
