Saturday already

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday already

Postby asirimarco » Sat Sep 05, 2009 7:31 am

Coffee is on and I got some banana walnut muffins yesterday - Yum yum! And in the frig is some Green Tea Ginger Ale - also pretty good.
Good grief the first week of September is gone already. And we are not on the road yet. The installer was here all day yesterday with the Satellite for Jennie - and its still not working. Finally figured out there was a piece of faulty equipment. So we'll be going with out Internet. Guess I'll have to activate my Verizon Air Card. Hopefully this will be the last time I need to use it. Then I'll get rid of it as I had to buy the air card to get the month to month program. So now don't know when we'll leave. Either tomorrow or Tuesday. Don't want to be on road Monday.

Good morning, and Carol beat me to it
Coffee's on, toasters out and I have blueberries, love my fruit.
Gettin ready to dig in on deep cleaning today, time to wash the walls and
dust out all the nooks and crannies. Its also linen wash day and that includes
the curtain sheets I hang over the windows to protect them and me from
the bright light (migraines) and rugs will get washed as well. What ever
you have planned for the 3 day weekend, please takes pictures cause it
certainly keeps me going and keeps my dreams alive. Have a great day
and be safe. Hoping you have good weather too.

GOOD MORNING CAROL, AVA, AND TO ALL!!

Molly and I woke up in the trailer this morning viewing 4 bunnies and 3 deer checking out the wild apple tree right here next to the sceen room. I had no alarm set, but sure didn't need one, as Molly was vibrating as she was watching the deer! I knew right away what I would find when I opened up my eyes to check out the yard. She would chase those deer until she dropped, unfortunately, if she ever got out free.

It was late when I got back from the campfire at the neighbors' last night, and I was too beat to lug stuff to the leanto---hence, we collapsed in our usual trailer comfy bed.

Another absolutely beautiful day has dawned here, and I am so happy to not have to rush to do anything except go to Saranac Lake and look for flexible stove pipe. I guess Mandy, my daughter, will help me with that tomorrow, if I am able to find a length of the pipe I can use without ordering it.

NO MICE this morning! YIPPEE!!!! But that doesn't mean the trapping is over, as I am sure many more will find their ways into the house as it gets colder and colder at night.

Coffee is blueberry flavored today, with vanilla creamer----YUM! I have no pistachio muffins left---sob! Will have to wait until I get back to Price Chopper after the first pay day next Friday.

I talked to my son, Weldon, last night. He called from somewhere on Route 95 south, near Orlando, FL. The cars were totally stopped, like a parking lot, he said, and people were getting out of their cars and chatting, trying to find out what was up and how long the delay would be. Cop cars and ambulances and tow vehicles and fire engines were trying to make their way through the parked traffic to get to the accident scene. I would so hate to have to put up with that on a daily basis as those living in that area do. Commuters who use I4 are invariably stalled for hours while huge pileups are cleared from the roadway. Give me good old Route 3 up here, any day----two lanes with not too many places for passing. The morning commuters all keep a steady pace and usually stay far enough behind each other to not make me feel angry or anxious, and, as it's always the same cars and trucks I travel with every morning, we all know each other and respect our traveling skills. Once in a while an impatient a-hole will try to pass a line of us in dangerous places, and we all just shake our heads, blow our horns, try to get the license plate number, and let them get far enough ahead of us to avoid the flying debris if/when they go off the highway or hit some unfortunate person coming the other way.

I need to check out my digital game camera again today and see what critters passed by last night.

Off I go to get dressed and head to town to seek flexible stove pipe. May you all have a great day wherever you may be and whatever you may be doing.
Life is about learning to dance in the rain
Happy travels!

Good-morning, No plans for the week-end, except to keep trying to put some order back into this place and clean, clean, clean. Isn't that what labor day is for? Problem with my car is keeping me here, or I'd go visit friends. I NEED to clean here, so its ok. I will feel so much better when I get all of the cobwebs off the outside of my house, all bugs, like the end of my house where my yard light is. 4 months with no one to keep them cleaned off, it looks worst then I ever remember seeing it.

Beautiful day, I do envy those who are taking advantage of our beautiful campgrounds.

Have a great week-end all.

Morning ladies!

I'm about to tackle some breakfast. Oatmeal with dried cranberries and sliced almonds.

Carol, I have a Toshiba laptop and am thinking I'll get a second one for the RV. I've never had any problems with the computer itself. I bought it at Costco in '04 (?), I believe. My son owned 3 different HPs and they all were "junk". (His words, not mine). (now everyone with HPs don't get upset. That was just his experience. :) )

Started raining last night and I slept like a top! Love the sound of rain on the roof. I do feel sorry for the holiday campers. Next weekend is suppose to be perfect weather.

I've been washing the dishes, towels and utensils I bought yesterday from Wal Mart. I'll probably take them out to Little Missy later....then just 'sit in her'. And dream! lol I so envy those of you who have your rigs right at your homes.

Ava, hope you get the afternoon run! Soos, looking forward to critter pictures. Cedar, safe travels home. Carolinagal, pace yourself! Carol, hope you get on the road soon. Sorry about the dish not working yet. And everyone else, have a great day and a safe weekend!

Just ask me what i think of my HP,.... on second hand maybe you hadn't better ask,.... the air might be blue. Mine is 1 year and 10 months old and I'm out shopping for a new one,... it will NOT be an HP. Toshiba is probably what I'll get. That's the second good recommendation I've seen on Toshiba in two days! :D

Morning...all well 95% of house is decluttered and is almost put together.

We are heading out this am...for out last big weekend out of summer fun....no we are not camping..it is suppose to rain all weekend...
Instead we are going to the Great Wolf Lodge, it is a huge indoor, always 86 degrees...waterpark resort. It is like a landlocked cruise ship.

THen it is back and time for school to start.

You all take care and I should become more of a regular on here once again.

I thirdly recommend Toshiba. My laptop is I don't know how old - maybe 3 years?
Never have had a lick of trouble with it!

Good evening everyone. Sorry I missed the morning coffee chat but decided I would check in anyway ~ my goal of checking the forum every day - so far so good, two days in a row :)

I went and had breakfast with a good friend this morning, we visited till 12:15 so I quickly headed home ~ I thought hubby would be home by 12:30 but it was actually 2:30 when he got home from his job, but that's another story. After he showered we ran errands: barnes/noble ~ looking for a camping journal for our trip (only two weeks to go and we hit the road). I found one that is pretty cool. The cover is post cards from lots of different places and one each double pages there is a thought for the day, a scripture and a place to write the highlight of each day. I can't wait to start using it. Then off to Costco, got a roasted chicken for dinner, a pie for a reception on Monday and a few other things we needed. Then onto Michael's where I picked up three skeins of embroidery floss so I can finish the wedding sampler I have been working on for weeks ~ the wedding is in two weeks, sure hope I get it done and framed in time. And then our final stop at the regular grocery store to pick up dog food, salad and twice baked potatoes to go with the chicken (not the dog food :)). Now we are back home, hubby is watching football and I am on the computer before tackling the cross stitch project.

Tomorrow we will go to church and then do laundry, the never ending job. Hope everyone is having a good weekend ~ stay safe in whatever you are doing.

Gooooood Evening SISTAHS!!!!!

HA! Can't get in here for the morning coffee so I guess I will have a glass of wine. Don't even ask what kind it is cause I don't know. Something cheap for sure but it does taste pretty dang good! hehehe

All done with dinner and about ready to head for the house. I've been up to the house a couple of times to let Shade out to 'P' and Kelly went up once to grab something to eat and she let her out. But now it's time to head home and scratch some back and belly so that she will will forgive me. I so wish I could connect to the internet up at the trailer!!! I would much rather be home all nice and comfy, in my PJ's if I wanted and I would be right there with her, instead of working all day and then sitting down here during the evening. ~sigh~

If ya'll have any of those banana nut muffins left over tomorrow morning?? Toss me a couple!!!

Love ya
