Monday is Retirement Day!!!

At least it's retirement day for Sunshinecruiser!!! It's a day of celebration, happiness, farewells, laughter, tears....and probably punch and cake! Of course, a final check around the office to be sure you've cleared out personal stuff. Close the door to your office, walk down the hallway and you are "free at last"!! Later in the day it might be 5:00 Somewhere! Except for 1,800 miles between us, I'd see you at TWRA for the celebration and for the 5:00 Somewhere celebration! Will be celebrating with you in spirit.

And for many others, Monday may be back to work, back to school, hit the road, or do the laundry!! Whatever your Monday is for you, make it a great day.

Although it's early still for breakfast, coffee is ready to go, and the Diet Cokes are iced down. I even put some Diet Pepsi on ice for the retirement gal! Picked up some banana nut bread and lemon loaf at a harvest festival this weekend, so come help yourself! I suspect others will drop by and share breakfast and stories as this wonderful new week begins!

HAPPY RETIREMENT DAY, SUNSHINECRUISER!!!!!!

I cannot wait to be able to join you in retirement, but, alas----one more year for me. Have a wonderful last day at the office, and keep us informed about retirement processes so the rest of us can learn what we need to do to survive after that last regular paycheck!

Nice day here today. Thanks for the coffee and goodies. Tons for me to still do before back to school tomorrow. July was a totally wasted month for me this year, and my workload has become overwhelming here on the property. Stuff mouse crack accesses today, make sure I have a working alarm clock, get something ready to wear other than summer duds, decide what to do with woodstove and chimney, finish painting front of rails on front deck, begin painting north balcony, try to roll orange on peak on front of house-----and on and on and on. Sigh----have a nice day, you all!

Yep, today was laundry day for me...It's done and now taking a break before doing the end of the month bills... But it is beautiful here today...cool and the sun is shining....No humidity............YEAH!!! Maybe we'll do them there bills tomorrow....
