Oops! The third photo should be the one with the new pads on it. Hopefully, Beth can add that one here. Not sure why I am not able to post these with RV.net? :?

Wow, Barbie!

What a MAJOR improvement! The "before" picture looked like an accident waiting to happen, the "after" photos look the the steps are solid and safe.

Thanks for posting, Beth.

Barbie, where did you say you found those steps?

Your steps look great Barbie. Glad you’re safer now.

I actually don't know how the manufacturer's even think a person can get on the original steps... I couldn't but then I'm finding I don't do steps without a railing... much much better Barbie
you did a good job at fixing the problem and looks good as well

Wow! Very nice, and I am amazed at the reasonable price. They look great and are 100% safer. Even with my reasonably low bottom step, I always worry about having to get out in an emergency and falling down the last step, so I hold onto the outside handle, but your stairs are much safer even than mine.

My California son's trailer that he bought about 4 years ago has that same huge drop-off on the bottom step. We co-camped a couple of years ago, and I went over there for dinner. Almost killed myself getting down, so when we got home, I went out an bought him one of the portable steps for the bottom.
