Saturday at last

Let's start our day with a good morning here.

Saturday at last

Good morning ladies
Saturday is finally here, seems like it was a long week. Today is my chore day saturday,
the one I go pay the bills and do the shopping for the next two weeks and do up the
laundry. Weather permitting, I'll get out and do some yard work too. Its overcast again
this morning and with any luck it will stay that way all day, keeps the high temps down
for sure.
Coffee is so good this morning and a little cinnamon toast on the side hits the spot.
Off to get view a few posts and then get started on my day.
Have a great day and be safe.

GOOD MORNING AVA AND ALL!!

It's soggy and grey and cool and overcast and still not like summer at all! BUT, the rain is not coming down right at the moment! However the ground is squishy from all the rain we got yesterday afternoon and last night. Temp is about 60, which is doable, but sure would like some sunshine. Just at the very moment I got my recliner set up to get some sun's rays yesterday, the skies opened up again!

I got out the heat/motion sensing game camera yesterday, put new bateries in it, new film, and got it ready to set up where there are a lot of critter footprints as soon as it stops raining! I think we put it in a chair before, down by Cold Brook, when we got the coyotes and bear photos. I will include pictures of that camera in here, as the connectivity today is very slow out here in the trailer.

Ava's coffee tastes good, so pull up a chair and tell us about your day.

Here's hoping you all have a wonderful day, and decent weather, wherever you may be or wherever you are headed. I heard on the news that somewhere in
FL got some more very dangerous weather last night.....will have to get ono WFTV Channel 9 news online to check out what happened. I should be very happy with just rain and rain and rain and rain and more rain, I suppose!

Here's some pics of that camera, for anyone interested. I found the receipt for it in the box, and the cost, quite a few years ago, was $369.00---too expensive for me, but my former father-in-law ordered it. Thanks, Pepa! (He died a couple of years ago this fall.)

Outside of waterproof camera housing, showing sensor windows, camera lense window, and camera flash window.

Case opened up, showing camera and plug into sensor mechanism---I've left it unplugged until I set it up on a game trail.
I'll let you all see any pics I get of deer, bears, coyotes, moose, beavers, or otters!

Happy Saturday to all!

GOOD MORNING ALL!
Looks like we will have one more pretty day before the rain sets in for the upcoming week. Heat and humidity have already returned but there was an unusual break in that this past week.
Yesterday I managed to get a drippy shower repaired, some bills paid, a little house work done, and one of my booths restocked plus work on a craft project. Also took Nicky for another play date late in the day. Not much planned for today tho there is still much to be done.
Mitch: That tomato pic was almost enough to make one give them up! Notice, key word "almost".
Soos: Impressive camera. May have to do a search on something like that to see if prices might have come down a bit. I'm looking forward to seeing your critter photos.
Have a safe ad fun day!

Kodie sleep in late today. I had hoped she would..as we were up late last night. We drove up to Boy Scout Camp for family night..we had dinner with DS 12 and then hung out for a bit and then went to the closing campfire program. Our older DS is also there, he is on staff this year and is really having a great time...I would thing that living and working up there would be fun.

They will both be home this afternoon, then older DS will head back up Sunday for the start of week 3.

Today I am going to continue to clean a bit and declutter...yes it is a never ending job. I think it because I have learned it is best to do one area at a time.
The challenge is the school stuff that we done with..needs to go downstairs and downstairs is...well...DS 21 moved back in while we were on vacation and that is the room we gave him..so now I have to figure out how to organize it so I can still get to things. He just sorta blocked everything off. I think I will maybe work on that area today and tomorrow. So I can at least get to stuff.

Soos, my brother has one of those game cameras at his camp in NH. Sets it up on game trails, but also on his "feeding stump" below the camp where he puts food scraps...gets all sorts of interesting visitors there...fox, racoon, black bear. The one I thought most interesting was the fisher cat that came regularly on summer a couple of years ago.
