Hey.. Would Ya Believe It's Thursday ...Morning Everyone ! Still waiting for my new Modem and Router to arrive...holding on each time I click to log in..as I see my little lights flashing..a little shaky at times..but.. it's holding..then I think sure it's holding..cause now I done spent my money to help this economy ..and the sucker is working...I did see Verzion out on the pole the other day.. in fact several trucks..mmmmm could it have been them..instead of me...dunno..but had an interesting conversation with Verizon via India.. yes, they too have their tech support in India..does it surprise anyone..Does anyone work in America.?????? aaaaaaah another great interesting topic..POLITICS ...ugh...

I started my program Monday..and the first week is always a challenge..can't wait till next Monday cause I've got to get through the WEEKEND ...

Bluepinecones (Sarah) oh I hated to hear you didn't get any news..I'd be jumping up and down myself.. I mean the Nurse could have called you..but today it seems lots of Doctors have lost that personal touch..I mean.. the staff is kind of like..hey this is just a job..and we people are just numbers... but Sarah.. we all are praying and will continue.. hang in there...

NaSoosie (Soos) I dunno, I have to admit I read your story of how you deal with not getting info..oooooooh you could win an Oscar.. no kidding.. omg.. It's true we all handle these horrible situations differently and our emotions sometimes are uncontrolled.. it is scary.. been there a few times..but I can't recall ever, going into panic overdrive... Soos.. I just dunno..

Cedar... ahhh you is on line with Verizon..don't ya just love them air cards.. as long as your cell phone works majority of the time you'll have internet..wooo hooo...and glad to hear you are enjoying your get away..aah what's this more room LOL see Cedar that's what happens..we go into another size and love it and then start thinking..oh I could use maybe a few more feet LOL Have ya made your peach biscuits..? Ok, I know when you get home them pictures will just flow...can't wait to hear more and I know you will be doing more Get Aways..or perhaps you might stay all summer in your little girl 2.. LOL I fully understand that one !!!

Asirimarco (Carol and Bill) are in Hershey, Pa.. and checking out the areas and mmm I know the smell of chocolate..did that tour long long time ago..also the amusement park.. yes, back then a lot of screaming children ...LOL perhaps in your travels Carol you'll get to go to the Factory Outlets in Reading..and all the Amish areas..

Well my signal meter is getting low..ooooh boy I hope I finish this... better get off.. and re boot...so I'll head into my kitchen and start the Coffee.... Kettle is Whistlin, OJ and Colas.. yes you got it.. in the frig.. have some Peach cobbler and right now I have a Breakfast in my Crock Pot.. yes, you heard it.. a Breakfast Casserole..so for those that want a little bit more.. I have it too...Even made those tiny pop in your mouth muffins.. Blueberry, Oat bran,and Corn ..love them..
So do drop in and sit a spell.. let's hear how things are going and what or where you are...

Oh, good, Zeee got her morning greetings in today.... I've been hear since 6am and was ready to do the greeting just in case..... Glad you could get here!!

The kids and grandkids are due in this afternoon for a long weekend visiting.....and a trip to Niagara Falls.....hope the weather man is wrong and this rain goes away!!! Or we'll all be wet BEFORE we get to the FALLS Putting the "guys" in the "add-a-room/screen room" to sleep and we girls got the bed spaces in the 5er...air mattress/cots, blankets, and sleeping bags ready.....will take photos to share.... We'll see how well 7 people fit at bed time...

Okay, I'm out of here, got to get Ernie and Bud (and me) moving.....

Good Morning Barb and all!

Overcast, a bit breezy, but 64 degrees this morning......not too bad at all. Rain is forecast for this afteroon, but maybe it'll hold off long enough for me to perhaps mow down at the pond.

Coffee tastes very good---thanks! Here's hoping we all have a fun day to share with each other. Gotta go read other posts now, and get dressed while the skies aren't pouring down wetness!

Good Morning All
The sun is out this morning and temps are warming rapidly. Has the makings of a better day.
Yesterday I washed clothes, bedding and towels - seems like everything I own, and there is still one more load to go. Will take me a couple more days to get all back to normal around here. Also paid some bills and took Nicky for a play date (he is not getting enough exercise lately). His friend has a large fenced yard where he can run. Good to see him so happy.
Today I must get new car tag, pay more bills, and restock one of the antique booths. Not very exciting but it is forward progress and will help keep me busy.
Am also still working on catch up reading for the AK travelers - such wonderful narrative and photos.

Good afternoon,

Checking in a little late, it was a slow morning today the sun seems to be finally peaking out from the clouds.
According to the news we are breaking records...having had the driest summer so far on record...with high temp's foretasted for the weekend...well high for here..we will be in the upper 80's. Now for some that doesn't seem like much, but when you live in an area where the normal summer temps are in the low to mid 70's. Very few places have A/C. Our house gets very very hot...we have a home that is designed like those Cedar Lindal homes..so it has floor to ceiling windows in the living/dining areas..with the high ceiling. The house is on a hill side so the main floor is the upstairs...it can get really hot and stuff in here.

Not much on the agenda today...I will work on some more deep cleaning and decluttering and sorting out clothes etc.

Well get some Zion photos loaded up later today.

I'm here at home to do some laundry and then head out today in an hour or so to go back to different campground. Came back from "the river" today to another campground near Plattsburgh,... only 40 miles from home. So,... here I am,.. washer and dryer are humming!

I'll pick up mail, feed cat, you know the drill.....

No peach biscuits yet, but it will happen. I have an oven in this new rig. so the peach biscuits will be baking for sure.

Hope you are all doing fine,.... I'll have a lot of catching up to do when I finally get home on the 31st!
