Lenora, have you thought about looking at a Born Free MH? They have what they call a "Built for Two" that just might be a size you are interested in. They have also just opened a factory on your coast in Lancaster, CA. This MH is probably the size of the R-vision that you just looked at. A B+, which is a little larger than a B. The company gets really good reviews year after year. Don't know how to do a clicky thingy but the website is www.bornfreemotorcoach.com. Hope it's OK to do this, if not delete.
Have you driven the PW Excel? There are some people on RV net and the PW forum that have had problems with the stability of these units while highway driving and are looking for ways to improve the ride. I know you mentioned that there were hardly any around your area but I thought I would bring up this point. The Excel (Ford) is wider than the others which might lead to the problem. If possible, maybe test drive both the PW models, Excel (Ford) and Luxor (Chevy) and compare the drive for yourself. PW also has a new Sprinter model as well.
Enjoy all the looking and driving for your new RV.
Linda
