Let's start our day with a good morning here.

July 5th...and life is full of fireworks!

Oh no......who left me in charge of a kitchen? I have the orange juice on ice and the coffee started and the diet coke chilled. Have some Texas toast ready for french toast if you want some and the gooey store bought apple cinnamon goodie stuff if you can't wait. Finished up the scoring contract last week and got caught up with the nursing home visit. The dogs were missing their ear rubs. I loved the part were about eight residents were lined up in the hall waiting their turn to go in and see the pediatist. Herschel just started waggin' his tail and walking slowly from one to another. I think he thought the line was specifically for his benefit....it was full of "his" people. I took the little girl pup in and she did her share of snuggles. They have enjoyed watching the pups grow. Have been shopping for a flat screen TV for the short bus. 15 inch TVs are very hard to fine and the ones I did find didn't do too well on reviews. The 19 in was just to big for the space and I took it back. I don't watch much Tv while on the road but I do like to switch on and watch the morning/evening news and weather, etc and a movie. FInally decided to take a risk and went for the cheap Colby under the counter TV/DVD combo. It won't take up much room and when I'm sitting on the bed watching TV it will be plenty close enough for the 10.2 in screen. I will let you know it it actually works after I get it out of the box today and try. People's comments said that it did scan and bring in the HD channels.

I have about 1 or 2 more bigger purchases and the rest of the "seasonally earned" money goes into the travel fund. I will try to take some pictures of the finished projects inside the bus when I am done. Now that I have the dinette completely out I would like to find a comfortable chair to put on that size that doesn't take up much room. For now I have my good blue camp chair just sitting in the space but I know that what I want is out their some where. I will recognize it when I sit in it! Something with a stool or leg rest with it. Now to do my book keeping...I've been putting it off...but if I don't enter all the purchases (food, etc...) the budget tracking software won't do me much good! I do I have been trying to keep close track for about a year now....it really has helped me get a sense of where the $$$ goes.

Hope everyone keeps on keeping on.....and if there aren't enough fireworks in your life feel free to make your own...at least then you can focus on the good kind of celebrations and not the "Oh my god, I didn't need that!" kind........ Take care and travel well.....

Good morning ladies
coffee is delicious this morning, and I'm on my second cup.
I'll go over and take care of daughters cat this morning and think
I'll take my laundry over there to do then I can use her dryer and
wash some of my big stuff too. I'll hang out and watch a movie
on her cable tv while I'm waiting for laundry.
Thats about all the excitement I've got going on here, watched
the Neil Diamond Boston ceremonies on tv last night, I've always
enjoyed listening to that man sing. The only other thing I need
to do is stop by the store for a couple tubs of chicken topping
to stir into the dogs food, they won't eat the plain kibble so I
always have to stir in some goodies. Spoiled for sure.

Good Morning!

Thanks for getting the coffee going Tina,... I'm late for b'fast here (went out to b'fast and then to grocery shopping) so I'll just grab a glass and some cold coffee and make a nice iced coffee. yummy.

Ava,.. I know what you mean. I buy the multi packs of tuna at Sam's Club and that's what Middy gets on her cat food every a.m. Can you spell s-p-o-i-l-e-d-r-o-t-t-e-n?

Nice day here today,.... sun,..... shhhhhhhh, I don't dare say that too loud, I might jinx the day!

Hope you are all enjoying your holiday weekend!
