Mitch, what happened with those bites/spots on you and your family? Did you go to the Dr. or did they just go away?

Doc didn't want to see me - just prescribed a cream and prednisone. They're going away, but still itch like crazy! Haven't heard how the kids are progressing. Hubby had a total of 8 on his body. I guess I was just allergic to whatever it was. And I'm still checking the mattress every day to make sure we didn't bring WHATEVER (bedbugs????) home!!!!

I'm glad it's not shingles, 'cause I'm way too late to tell you to get to a dr. ASAP. Shingles rash usually occurs only on one side, belly button to spine (or on the face), but as others said, it affects the nerves and can cause permanent nerve damage, leading to lifelong pain. So, anyone who thinks they may have it needs to get treated immediately to prevent that damage!

Hope your rash is better now.
