Ann, maybe you need to open up a strawberry stand outside your house! I used to do that with raspberries when I was a kid.
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

That's actually quite a good idea, Barbie. Thank you.

I think the reason I have so many is because we have had an unusually cool April. Generally, it is already quite hot by now. I'm thankful for the cool-ish weather, though, it is giving my veggie transplants a little breathing room to get well rooted before the really hot weather rolls in.

Once it gets hot, probably the strawberries will taper off, then stop.

It's been fun while it lasted! I have a freezer full of strawberries!

Anne....I did take a class in jewelry making many years ago, so part of my words came from personal observations of working and watching others work the metals. My daughter also creates some very unique pieces. She loves to work with copper, also. One of her comments to me several years ago when I offered to pick up some stones for her was, she didn't want finished symmetrical stones. Nothing she makes really looks like anything else she finishes. Last year she admitted that even if she didn't ever sell anything she would still have to create them. She also loves to work with river rocks. Both you and she create beautiful unique pieces but they are appreciated and worn by only a n equally unique portion of women. The rest of the women are decked out with the usual gold or silver chains, etc. Or the necklaces made of the materials and beads that you left behind. She does sell some of her art but admits that it is like letting her "children" go out into the world.....
