The Completed Fence Project

Barbie asked me to pictures of the fence project that was recently completed in my yard post. So here Thty are.

This is the front line of the fence that was moved back a bit to straighten it out and stretch it tighter. There are wood post fence braces on both ends now. This is between my garage and house.

The fence line between the shed and back of garage was moved in and straightened. The braces for the corner and gate area were already in place when I took the first picture.

The back fence line ran from the front of my shed to the corner of the fence running out from the house, so there wasn’t really a lot of open backyard per say. Once the forestry mulching project was completed last fall, I decided it would be nice to have the fence moved back to the back edge of the shed this year and widen up the yard by about 16 feet.

The fence running from the corner of the house to the back corner was just lengthened to meet the back fence and had braces installed on the corner.

I just corrected the one picture that was taken out by the shed, Found out there were two of the same one in there. Thought I had it corrected but I guess not. Sorry about that

Sue, love pictures. Looks more neat and organized. You sure don’t lack shade. Lol you have a beautiful home. Now a fern on that deck would be perfect.

Looks much better and the dogs have a lot more room to run around! Your yard is beautiful with all those trees! What is behind your house in that last photo? Looks like a small open area. You must get lots of wildlife thru there! I can just hear the wind whistling thru those pine trees!
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

Sue, your beautiful photos start me thinking about moving to your area all over again.

[Sigh] Never gonna happen, but I can still think about it, right? ;)

Barbie, there is a bog behind me. And there’s water in there. It starts at the west side (left side in that last picture) and goes all the way across the back of my property and the neighbors next door, which was my old property before I moved into this house. I do not own that area behind me except for maybe a quarter of the way into it. The rest belongs to and oil/gas exploration company. These are a couple pictures I took of it last fall after the forestry mulching was done. I don’t have a whole lot of wildlife around in here. We have had a bear visit us two or three times this spring and there are coyotes in the area but I have not seen any around in my yard. Nothing can come in to the bog because of the water except ducks. My neighbor said that there were a couple nesting in there last summer but I did not see them probably because the brush was too high.
