Prices

Somebody elevate my feet and start an IV to hydrate! I almost never buy just one item at grocery, so I don't always notice individual prices. I needed 2 potatoes to extend the scalloped potatoes I made yesterday as recipe made too much sauce. So I stopped at grocery where I always shop, amd bought 2 Russet type baking potatoes. Tab came to $2.04!!!!!!! For 2 potatoes!!!!!

Single potatoes are always more expensive than the bags. I know because I usually buy them. I just don't eat potatoes often enough to want to put up with a whole bag.

Ditto, for us. It's been years since I even bought a 5 lb bag, but son requested scalloped potatoes and I certainly wasn't making 5 lbs worth. Won't be doing that again soon!
