Lyn, glad you are able to stay put there! Besides the grocery delivery services, there is also Schwan's delivery. They have good food and now single serve meals as well.
The SD Humane Society offers cats for free for seniors. You can get an automated litter box to make that easier too. Sorry to hear you can't keep the dog tho.
Sounds like you have a good plan now and a good outlook! Glad to hear it! I will have to come visit you sometime this summer!

Getting a cat or kitten sounds like a great idea. I keep getting tempted myself, but don't like the idea of leaving a cat in the heat when I am shopping or in a museum.
Glad you checked out the senior living options and decided you were better off where you are right now.
