Monday..did anyone say "Rain" ..again !! Morning As I sit and relax a spell from again wiping the floor and putting down the newspaper to absorb the "wet feet"..geeez.. I think tomorrow I'll do up a picture with the Sun.. as for now..I'm doing a meditation one..Think Sunny Days.. aaaaaah it will get better...and speaking of which...

Our Echo..reading such sad news..I know we all have waited to hear "Good News" from her..as posting for her was a problem ...but who wanted to read this !... Sparkle posted an address if all wishes to send her a Get Well or Hey you've been missing in action note.. I am sure that would lift her spirits.. and also Kelly's because I'm sure she's in a state of shock herself with what is happening with her mother..!

Kelly if you read this.. you are also in our prayers..try and post if you can ..cause you have lots of us here willin to give you support..

Mitch (Michelle) Good to hear from you too..but ouch.. Not seeing your 'back" as for the Shingles.. mmm don't look like it's them ..Had them a few years back ..and that's something else.. in fact I still suffer from the results.. Shingles follow the nerve branch and yes, if some of you don't know this they are contagious..in a certain stage ( I learned that one from Dr) and extremely painful and can be very dangerous.. mine was of the face (right side) head, neck in ear .. Please get yourself checked just in case.. Will keep prayers that it's just a rash of like Ivy or Sumac..

Bluepinecones... (Blu) Wow.. another Murphy's Law.. Thank God you are ok ! Holy Hannah .. I guess this morning is just gonna be this kind of news... It does seem that when something happens .. there is a multiple change reaction... Blu is there any way that when your in that CPAP device that you can put it into a battery back up system.. Actually I thought they had those incase of power failure .. Just all I can say is "Thank God " you and Nicky are ok.. As far as snakes go.. Please do be careful..

I mean to tell ya Margie.. you will have plenty of room to have us all come visit hahahaha.. Love how they did the flooring too .. as that makes life much easier to wipe up.. You and hubby will have lots of enjoyment.. Now can't wait to follow along as you travel them open Highways !!

Corn, Blueberry and Bran Muffins.. ready for the grill.. aaaah nothing finer than a toasted muffin.. Even have a few English Muffins for those that enjoy those crunch little darlings... and yes, Biscotti.. no Italian home would be with out Please do stop in and say Hello.. cause ya know we love hearing from ya..

Yep, the weather man says we're to be sunny, but hot!!! for most of the week.....But, with all this rain we've had and now the heat....well, the skeeters will sure be plentiful.... here in the woods....have lots of my favorite cologne....I call it "Ode to Deep Woods Off"... What ever works.....

Am hoping we hear more on Echo.....I know we all worry about her...and the prayers are sure going her way.....

Okay, got to get my motor going for the day.....got my coffee and off I go....

Our Internet service has taken a turn for the better. I still can't upload pics...I think I've just got too many in my albums, it takes forever to upload. So I've been printing out the ones I want and deleting them as I go. BUT, now the printer won't pick up the paper! So I'm taking it in today. I know the rollers just need cleaning, but I don't know how to get to them. I plan on two short hikes today. One to Triple Alcoves and one to Horseshoe Bend. There WILL be photos! (at some point) Diane came home last night I believe, although I haven't seen either one of them yet. Now I'm off to read about Bluepinecones adventures. Inquiring minds need to know.

Sparkle, try downloading that image resizer that Sharon recommends. It'll change your images to a size that will be easier and faster to download with your not as good connections there. Bet it would work.

Glad to hear that Echo came home - will hope that one of them or you can update us soon on how she's doing.

Liz and Carol are not MIA, btw, well, kind of - but we've been boondocking for several nights and since their generator isn't working, they can't get online - so cross your fingers - Liz is going in tomorrow for repairs on it. I told them about Echo and they keep asking me for updates - so know, Echo and Kelly, you are both in their prayers, also.

Today, I got an oil change and the 3 of us went on the Riverboat Discovery Cruise here in Fairbanks this afternoon. Rather than spend too much time online or running my generator, I'm going to wait till tomorrow (when I stay at an rv park- at least that's the plans) with electric - then will get Fairbanks updated on my blog.
