Oh Shirl, those are magnificent! You did a beautiful job. I especially like the branches with fairy lights. You, my friend, are very talented!

Both are very nice, but i really like the wreath because it is simple and yet very pretty.

Looks very festive HO HO HO I put up a wreath on my front door and strung lights on my front porch. Makes me feel very festive. I didn't do a thing last year as I was only half moved in so was happy to do something this year. Your wreath is beautiful and I love the lights.

Beth, thanks for posting the pictures. The wreath came from Michels and I added the bow because I love polka dots. I did labor over the fairy lights. :x going to add garland and a wreath to the balcony railing because branches in a pot aren’t great in the day. Trimming the pencil Christmas tree today.

I love the polkadot bow! The lights are very cool! Can you add small red bows or garland to the branches so it looks festive during the day?

Barbie, I did think of bows but am going with the garland, wreath with bow on the railing. Hope that will draw the eyes during the day. Still want to outside at night to take pictures. Haven’t seen other balcony’s in the building.

Shirl, I really like your creativity and hope you're able to take more pictures of the patio once you're finished decorating.

Irmi, will try to get nighttime pictures to post.

Hints: if anyone wants to light branch’s, it is better to use live branches which are flexible and do not use tiny ones like me. It makes you say bad words. Use maybe the thickness of a nickel or larger.

Beautiful job on both of them Shirl, especially the door swag. Very festive. Beth is right, we do have a lot of talented people in the group.

I’m so impressed I went out today to collect some branches and then will make an attempt at creating a lighted tree when I get some lights. If it looks only half as nice as yours Shirl, I’ll be happy.

Sandi, I inspired myself  The wreath on the door is a cherry welcome. At the house I made wreaths for each season. Think I will do the same here. The difference is I used local vegetation, cat tails or any thing that looked pretty or unusual and of course it hung outdoors. Need artificial in the hall and it is expensive if you can find it. Sheila’s red cardinal started me thinking. Lol Will take a walk in a local park that also borders on the Chesapeake Bay. Might find some shells or who knows what treasures. I’m lazy when it comes to exercise but a treasure hunt might work. Send us a picture.
