Drumroll please.....

They signed the papers on the Forest River 30DS yesterday - https://forestriverinc.com/rvs/class-a-motorhomes/fr3/30DS/777

The salesman took them out so they test drive it & a class C. My son felt more comfortable driving the class A & they liked the 30' layout the best.

They'll pick it up on Wed & probably take it down to the beach for its first outing. We've also found out that they can park it in front of their house for 72 hours at a time with a special permit. He's got everything lined up at the rental place which provides all incidentals when it is rented out (cookware, kitchen supplies, etc.). They do have to pay a monthly storage fee but it is minimal compared to RV storage places in this area.

This was proably the fastest purchase on record, but I know they're going to enoy the heck out of it.

Thanks for your input. They took it to heart.
Now he's studying up on RV systems & learning about all the gotchas of being a newbie RV owner.
Can't wait to have some fun in it with them.

The bunk over the front seats is a wonderful spare bedroom.
