Down goes the paper so they can blot their paws coming back in..but wait..if they are in a play mood..Like Zeke usually is..it's jump up and pat ya..Yeah..them big Paw (like bear prints) embedded in your nightgown..(get the picture )...aaaaaah it's what that wake up call is all about..Rush, Scream, Run..LOL

Speaking of which.. I see we had a surprise visit... OO.. yeah..OliveOil..so good to see you and hear that all is going well in the Ozarks..I'm sure you're gonna have lots to tell us when we can put a stop on them feet of yours.. I know you must be hearing them frogs.. Do come back cause we'd love to see how things are set up for you and hubby ... Oh and do check out the recipe she left us.. oooooooooh OO !!!

Good to see Beth pop in and say Hi.. and yep.. do check her blog out also..I've been dodging in and out on most of the blogs..cause I see some of the gals haven't been posting much so I check to make sure they are ok... Oh, for all that asked about pictures..because I do extreme amount of art work, I use PB ..as most sites I belong to have restricted Bandwith.. Granted there are other servers but of all the ones I've tried PB is really (hard to believe) the best of them..I resize in Photo Shop before placing into PB..

Aah I had to smile reading about your "new" experience..don't feel bad cause they'll be much more down the road and it does get easier..but funnier too..aah you can sit around our campfire and swap them stories.. Coffee is perking..Kettle is Whistlin and yep...Cola and Oj are chilled.. breakfast is ready.. I have this morning some Cinnamon buns..and Orange rolls (Lori I got some ) oh and I even have Soft boiled eggs on toast.. I'm hungry.. LOL

A beautiful sunny day here on the St John River in Fredericton New Brunswick. If you ever want a great spot to spend a few days at a resort in paradise, check out Hartt Island RV Resort. I went for a pontoon boatride at sunset last night with people from three provinces and two other countries. It was gorgeous... Also took my dog into town yesterday on my scooter for a grooming appointment. It was our first trip and I think she liked it. Sure got a lot of double-takes en route though. The bugs are biting a bit here so I look like I have pox but these bugs are not the maneaters they had in Ontario.... Maybe these eastern bugs just prefer our sweet Western blood LOL.

Morning all - wonder of wonders we actually had a day without rain yesterday. Guy from insurance company came to check out the roof (leaking over my bathroom) and said we have a lot of damage to the shingles - rough winter here last year - and should have the whole roof replaced. So we'll see. Something needs to be done. CRAP I hear thunder and it is getting darker and darker outside. Whats the difference between "isolated thunderstorms" and "scattered thunderstorms" - today we're supposed to have "severe weather" Think I prefer the desert - either hot and dry or hot and wet.
Have the side pieces on on my window and it has been turned so ready to solder the back side. Should really get to it and get it up - then start on the second one. Also been working on my web page about last winters trip in Mexico - promised myself I will finish one page a day until it is done.

Well it is cloudy day...and one panic already and I told DH just to not worry about it. On his way home from work he was going to stop at the storage unit. To pickup the large Gatorade water cooler we have...to have at the family reunion, after all there will be about 40 people there. The keys are not in their usual spot. So as he was digging around the house. I told him not to worry about it. We could just take the two smaller ones. I guess we will worry about those keys after we get back. He thinks they might be in the trailer. I will find out when I head down there to start loading.

I feel somewhat behind...as we had not anticipated the truck being in the shop for 3 days. We thought it was just one day..oil change and brakes. But they discovered a few other issues, while it was there. At least all is fixed and it is better to have it discovered and fixed on this end...then somewhere out on the road. 2 of the items were covered under warranty, as they were starting to fail and yet had just been replaced about 10 months ago. So there was no charge for that, as the mechanic covered it, under their parts warranty. DS car will hopefully be looked at today. We think it is the O2 sensor, or fuel filter issue. Either way...our mechanic will get it fixed and then give DS a call and they will let him have his car and we will pay them when we get back from the trip. I really love the shop we go to. A bunch of honest great guys. In fact, the one time I was out of town and power steering pump failed. I called our shop, to ask about it. Then they did some checking and found a shop for me to take it to.

So not sure when I will get a chance to post again. Not sure how the wi-fi will work at some campgrounds...we will have broadband card also, but it is limited usage.

We head out tonight to Ellensburg the to Boise, ID (pick up my teenage nephew)..then on Saturday we head out toward Utah...Bryce and Zion Canyons. Then on to the family reunion in AZ next Thursday...spend the weekend in AZ and then on Monday head to the South Rim Grand Canyon then Las Vegas, then back up to Boise for 4th of July Weekend. Then finally back home.

One of the older boys will be here, and two of our friends are house sitting. We did not kennel the dogs..it would have been $$$$$$$$$$$$. So we figured that since DS would still be here...he has a few days of work/training at the Boy Scout camp. Then he officially starts July 5th. (We rtn July6th). The only think my friend is worried about is the dogs, she hopes they do not take off. Now normally 98% of the time they do not. Raider is great about coming right back if you call him. Roxy can sometimes take off...but 99% of time she will come back. If she does it usually means Daisy (the dog across the street) is out. I want this to be a restful time for our friends, a time to enjoy the space of a house. (they fulltime in a motorhome).

Well I better get off...got a zillion things to get done.

We decided to get out of the house yesterday, so we took a drive about an hour away to Lacassine Wildlife Refuge to see the critters and water level. Got some shots of alligators, turtles, birds and even a sneaky snake (remember Tom T. Hall's song). I'll try to get those posted for yall, maybe today, in between laundry loads. Popping in to say morning! Am sitting here waiting for a business email and getting a chance to read a few more posts. Will be forever and a day before I catch up - if I ever catch up - but at least I'm tryin'.

And a quick note to all my friends here - if you have something to personally email me about - please do so. However, right now, the jokes and forwards - please don't send them to me. I sometimes have literally hundreds of emails a day - and when 1/2 to 3/4's are those - I spend way too much time sorting those out (and sending them to garbage now without reading) instead of finding the real emails and reading the important stuff here. Now, if'n you really, really think one of those forwards is a MUST to send - don't do it as a forward to me - if'n it's that important, take the time to send it specifically to ME - with a note from you. And if it's soooooo cute and you really haven't seen it before, I might forgive ya for sending it on.

Okies, now don't get mad at me. When I have time, some of those make my day - but right now, I simply don't have time for them. Nothing against those of you who send them - and when I'm settled somewhere with internet all the time - then flood my inbox again - if necessary
